These work great. Good price and the app works great.

These cameras have a great picture and alerts well if activity is noticed. The problem with the cameras is, that as soon as the 30 day trial period for Nest Aware runs out they are completely useless. Literally, the day my trial period ran out they stopped sending me notices, they take forever to show me a picture and are basically useless. I put a doorbell camera on a week after these were installed and it worked fine, until the trial period ran out as well. So, unless you are willing to pay the ransom for the Nest Aware packages, do not buy these cameras. I regret my purchase and will NEVER buy another Nest product and will NEVER recommend their products to any of my hvac customers.

The microphone works better than the video. I can hear everything

This camera is good but it’s very sensitive at night. It can’t tell the difference between a guy breaking into my car and a car’s headlights illuminating a small portion of my driveway so it sends me a notification just to be safe.

Digital zoom - not optical zoom - which means you get no extra capabilty/resolution over a standard model. faces are very pixelated 20-30 feet away and I've set this on the highest resolution. I spent $1k on Google cams/hub and am mostly disappointed. I also can't talk through the cameras using my samsung phone, cuz for some reason there is a known issue with Samsungs not being able to talk through the cameras (you can only faintly hear it) but this issue has been around for over a year and nobody's solving it... so now i have 2 devices for which i cannot communicate to the cameras. I also splurged on the nest outdoor iq for the motion tracking/zooming, but it only has a digital zoom, meaning it doesn't really help you in anyway other than it's cool and it costs more than double the standard outdoor model. Also, you can't schedule alerts for only night-time, so if you want notifications, your device blows up with notifications all day with normal activity. So, overall, i feel ripped off. too expensive for what you get with the google suite. Too many obvious User-Experience issues that should've been solved before being able to sell it.

I bought and had the camera professionally installed 2 weeks ago. Everything was going good until it went offline and as per nest they are sending me a new one. This one is already broken. Their customer service is great though
