I love this camera! I have it mounted right between one garage door and the front door entryway. The speaker (you can talk through it) is REALLY REALLY LOUD. Great for scaring people. The way this camera identifies people and pans/zooms automatically is so awesome. Captures great looking video. I mounted this camera into brick and then passed the cable up through Hardy ventilation overlay and connected the power supply inside of the garage. As long as you have something easy to drill into, this camera is very easy to mount and conceal the wiring to an indoor outlet. Plenty of cable length (25 feet). Was a great addition to my Nest home! I just wish it was under $300 and put on sale. I've NEVER seen this model on sale, ever. Definitely worth the purchase for covering a large area to be monitored.

I bought two Nest Cam Iq Outdoor Security Cameras and these are the best cameras for the money you can buy! They have great features with excellent night vision, zoom in features and you are able to hear any motion movement and it has a speaker built inside the camera! You can't go wrong with these cameras, period!!

The camera is easy to install and get set up. My only complaint is that in migrating from Nest (I already had a Nest thermostat) it is not a smooth process. I'm also having a problem getting notifications on motion even though I have turned that functionality off in the software. Camera does work well and the automatic zoom feature is nice. All in all a good camera.

This is an excellent camera. Good filed of view and clear picture. Easy to install if you are handy with tools. The app is easy to use for setup. I did have trouble with the scanning of the QR code and needed to manually enter the serial number. Write down the serial number. Using the app is easy and very reliable.

We just expanded our camera system and we love it. We added a motion detector spot light for the backyard and between the camera's night-vision and the light we see everything quite well. Fun to see our night visitors, i.e., raccoons, opossums, cats, etc. Seeing these visitors has proved to us this system works !

These cameras only need to be connected to power and the app walks you through the set up in a few minutes. The motion detection and picture quality are excellent. The only down side is they are on the more expensive side compared to some other brands but they work great if you have other google home devices.

I purchased 2 sets of the 2-pack because the price was cheaper per camera. I had these cameras installed and thus far they work quite well. The quality of the images and sound are top-notched. I guess that's why they are not cheap! I followed video instructions to install the cameras and it was very easy!

These cameras provide very good picture/image quality. It integrates very easily into the Nest app. The camera captures both video and audio, and follows the sound or movement noticed. These cameras do require drilling into the outside structure of the home to be able to plug into an internal outlet.

Great picture and sound quality. Does a good job with facial recognition and has plenty of options to customize notifications. Thinking about getting a couple more. I really wish there was an option to hardwire it though. If you don't have a convenient outlet, it's not the best.

This camera has face recognition and alerts you when someone new comes into view. Or you may want to delete a person that is sketchy so you will be alerted to their presents. You can talk to someone through the camera and hear them. Camera will automatically zoom in if it sees movement. We really liked this item.

The camera was so good that I had buy the 2 pack. The video quality is great, and the audio is just as good. The night vision mode is really impressive. The app and cloud storage is also really easy to use. On the pricier side, but after using it for the past few months, I believe it is worth it.

I purchased this camera due to good reviews, can complain about it, very good picture and sound during any time of the day, smart to identify familiar faces ( need a paid plan subscription), need a little bit of time before you can have the perfect settings depending of your need. But so far very satisfied! Will recommend!

Installed two cameras to keep an eye on my side driveway and boat when it’s parked over the weekend. Love how the camera auto-focuses in on people, great night-time viewing, easy install, and the activity zone function is great to set areas for monitoring so I don’t get flagged for every daily dog walker passing my driveway.

I have 5 ring cameras. This is by far better than every single one of them. It auto zooms and has incredible picture quality. Has continuous recording and even facial recognition that is surprisingly good. Pair this with the Nest doorbell and you won’t be disappointed. 10/10 recommend.

I have generally been impressed by the cameras. Ease of installation, app compatibility and picture clarity is amazing. The notifications are nice and accurate. Day and night vision is excellent in picture. The cord is too long and has already needed a replacement. I’d recommend them but understand it’s nit a professional grade.

It was a bit tricky drilling a hole through the brick wall into our house, but after a couple hours (had to go buy another drill bit), I was able to feed the power cable through. The camera and mounting plate feel solid and of great quality. Super easy to set up in the Nest app and overall, great performance.

I do not feel this camera is quite worth the cost. If this was on sale for 100$ it would be a perfect deal for what it does. It is a very good camera, but I do not feel it is worth the price that I spent for it. You also need the subscriptions to nest to get the full value out of this product.

I upgraded my Nest Camera to the IQ camera for my drive way. With the idea that the camera will have better quality picture and better visual on faces. The face recognition is better, but not what I expected. Faces are still grainy when focus. Unless you already know the person you will not recognize them who they are. If you have an outdoor Nest Camera already and you want to spend $360 to upgrade. "NOT" worth it. Just an FYI - when I install the new camera. My wife and daughter didn't notice any difference in the quality of the picture.

I had the Ring spotlight camera, whilst it worked for the most part, it missed a LOT of stuff; it also did not record 24/7. WiFi was awful on the ring as well. Swapped it out and got this nest. I am very pleased but the notifications are decades behind ring. It send a notification if a car rides by, sun creates a shadow, or if a bug flies by. This results in thousands of false alarms. Disable motion detection and have person notifications on and it should resolve the issue. Regardless, the quality of the video and 24/7 recording makes up for the shortfalls. You will need a very good router and a speedy uplink. I’m running 4 IQ cameras, two ring pro doorbells and two regular nest outdoor cameras. All cameras are set to the Max quality With no issues. I’m on a 400/25 connection.
