Easy to install. Camera works great and videos are clear day or night. LED lights are super bright. Also like that light can be turned on/off on the app.

i bought two cameras and setup appointment for installation. The first appt the guys said this can't be done by the bestbuy installer it has to come from an outside installer. so i had to setup a new appointment. I took several weeks to get a new appointment. I explained to the representative that he needs to make the right appt because it could not be a bestbuy installer. when the installer arrived, it was a best buy installer who could not complete the job. I had to make a third appointment. I finally got a rep who understood and assured me that the right installer would arrive. He did and installed the first camera no problem. the second camera would not connect to the network. So here it the 4th appointment. It took over a month for this appointment. Then the weather caused a delay so I had to reschedule. The one camera works fine. now i await the completion of of the second camera. i wish you could rotate the camera using the app. The installers were very nice and did what they could. they said i may have to return the other camera and get a new one. that would be another appt because they have to uninstall and remove it from the soffit then i have to return it. Bummer but bestbuy did waved the installation fee. I should also get a gift card for all I've gone thru and it is still not complete. As you can see this all started in Nov 2021. FYI my son bought and installed his camera in 20mins

Looks amazing and clear, easy to install Clear voice

Camera stoped working just shy of 2 years. Rebooted if anx it ladted a few more months. It had connections to the base charging issues. The battery would die after a few days. I reset it more than once. I brought it inside and recharged it to 100% and then it discharged to zero within two days. The connections were all cleaned with alcohol and were pristine, and still wouldn’t charge the camera. The floodlight stopped working in the Google home as a light that you could turn on and off. Purchased May of 2023. Its toast now. I recommend just getting a regular floodlight then a Wasserstein solar panel and the Google camera separately.

No issues, great video, bright light, nothing else I need

I’m loving this camera with super bright floodlights. I observed a coyote about to enter my property, and the lights flashed on, and it ran away!

Love them so much I have boughten 22 of them. I live in a condo complex w/o security cameras, bought my own and have saved me financially and life wise.

I'm very happy with this camera and flood light. Resolution is very good and it's highly compatible with my Google environment. Installation was as expected. Very good, very sturdy product.

Camera was easy to install but did not come with the anti theft screw for the camera Google advised to contact Best Buy. Several phone calls later and being hung up on I went back to my Best Buy store. The manager I talked to helped me and resolved my issue Extremely professional and helpful. I have this google best floodlight cam in several locations. It works well and stays online. I also have a Ring flood cam and it works very well and stays online too. Two very different experiences viewing the videos, alerts, app look and feel etc. The Ring product last I checked was significantly cheaper and I do not feel like either product is superior to the other.

It’s big. It’s ugly. And it doesn’t really make any sense. Here’s why: Googles Home app makes it not make any sense. For some reason, Google completely separates the light settings for this camera from the actual camera part of the app. There is no slider or toggle switch for the light once you are in the camera part of the app. If you want to change any light settings, it’s totally separate and built into an entirely different part of the app. This makes NO SENSE. And a perfect example of why the Google Home app ruins these cameras and the user experience. The camera itself is solidly built, heavy and feels like it’s a quality product. This camera is literally the same as the standalone cameras with a magnetic light base. With a premium cost. If you don’t really need a floodlight, save yourself the cost and get a stand-alone camera. If you absolutely need a light, look at the other, cheaper, third part options that work with the camera. Googles greed here is obscene.

I bought 3 floodlight cameras less than a year ago. Installation was good and I was happy with them until I had to update WiFi settings. My cameras are installed >25 ft above ground and the process to update WiFi requires a manual reset at the unit itself - 1/3 units was a breeze to update; for the other 2, I couldn't get past a "something went wrong" message even with live support from Google Nest Customer Care (tried > 10x for each unit with no success). After repeated communications with Google, I got an email indicating a product replacement would be the next step. I'm still waiting for the promised email with links to initiate re-order process. I've tried to reach out to Google Customer Care via email and chat and get no responses after a week. I feel so dumb for believing the Google name would equate to a superior product with incredible technical support. I hope this review helps others not fall in the same trap as I (and wish no one has to update their WiFi ever)

I love my floodlight camera. It’s amazing. I connected it in my backyard and it works perfectly with the app. I set the light to come on as you work pass it and set it for a certain time. I have the service so I can view all events months after if I would like.
