The quality of the camera is also good. However, the google home app is very limited and it is disappointing this cannot be used in the Nest app or any other camera software.

Relatively easy setup through the app. I would have preferred integration with the Nest app but alas it has to use Google Home. Lighting is excellent as is the camera.

Getting it on the network took some trial an error and once I factory reset the camera after its fresh install it connected.

Replaced a current floodlight, and installation was a breeze. My biggest frustration was the inability to use the Neat app with my other best cameras. You have to use the Google Home app (otherwise it would have been 5 stars!)

We wanted to make the Google Home app the one place where you can control all your favorite Nest devices and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam with Floodlight:
- Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, "Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.

They had some reviews stating the light is not bright enough. i have mine set to 60-70% brightness, and have no concerns in my driveway. Camera is pretty good.

The color could have been different since it does not gel with the garage lights. But no complaints otherwise. Works well and keeps us safe and secure.

A range issue or wireless interference can affect the overall performance of your camera. The device may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away from your router. You may also check for objects such as mirrors and refrigerators between the camera and your router as these items could block the connection. Easy does it!

It was easy to replace my standard floodlight with this and the Google Home integration works well. As others have noted, I really wish it worked with the Nest app, but I can use everything on the Home app just the same, so I’m not really docking it for that reason.
