This cable doesn't provide sufficient power to the camera at night. I didn't realize I had a problem until after the exchange period ended, which was a worthless 15 days. I was told to deal with Google whose customer service is non-existent.

I got in touch with Nest - not easy - and they simply refused to replace the cable. "We don't do that...'' Stuck with a $40+ cable and a reminder of how Google/Nest failed me and took my money.

There’s absolutely no reason why a charging cable is 40 bucks. That being said. 5 stars on it working correctly it’s the only cable that doesn’t fail over time

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was excited for the camera. The doorbell was a 4/5 so I decided to keep the same brand. Big mistake. Poor connection. When its connected it takes forever for the app to open and connect me to the live video feed. 40% of the time I try to connect to video that was just recorded 30 seconds prior, it will show me a “ video unavailable”. $200 for a camera and you cant even use it. The 3 hour recording is also lame. You have to pay for the package for longer storage. I would pay if the camera did what it was supposed to. I should have gone with an Arlo but that is life. You live and you learn.
