Especially given the recent Eufy breach of trust - I'm extremely glad to have only tried their product for a short while. Using this latest wired version of the Google Doorbell without a subscription gives me 99% of the features that I want, and it's reliable by factors of magnitude more than the competition for the price.

I get alerts on my phone when someone is close to the door, regardless if they ring the bell or not. I can monitor package delivery and even answer the door remotely if im not at home

The first died during a thunderstorm and was replaced by Google under warranty. The second died during an ice storm. Both apparently couldn't take a power surge. Still, both provided a clear view of my driveway and walk. The current one does the same but with increased resolution. I can zoom in to see exactly what's happening across the street. Hopefully with the addition of a surge protector, this one will last longer than 4 years.

Pretty disappointed in my purchase. Picture quality is the same, likely even worse than my 2018 Nest model. Even with the proper settings, this one doesn’t record as much “non-events” as the 1st Nest one.

1. Open the Home app.
2. Tap and hold your device's tile.
3. At the top right, tap Settings.
4. Choose Video.
5. Under “Video quality,” choose Max or High. High settings use less bandwidth. Max settings use more bandwidth.

Easy set up great video doorbell

I get notifications on my phone but im not always home and the wife is and all the package delivery conpanies dont ring doorbells anymore it’s ridiculous lol.

Love that I could order a color to coordinate with the siding on our home. Tech was even able to connect to the inside door chime for a small fee. I happened to get a tech that was also an electrician. My lucky day! Love, love, love this product and I have nothing but good things to say about google products. I NEVER do reviews. That's how much I love this product.
