I bought this as i have never neen able to program my 'programmable' thermostat. This one is easy to set. Even easier when you download the app. A nice surprise - it works with my Google home. I can change the setting, ask for the current room temp & hear the target temp - all by voice! Sweet purchase! The box tells you to verify compatibility prior to opening, and i received a confirmation email with a custom wiring guide!

I love this thermostat, even though it thinks I'm not home. If you buy sensors to link to it, you can tell which room is too hot, and have the whole house cool down to get the one room cooled (or warmed, if need be). I do not want to be without this. I can easily change which room I'm basing the whole house off of, and I'm not just stuck with the one central location, like with my old thermostat. However, if your wifi goes out, your thermostat may have an issue with finding the sensors and stuff, until the wifi is back on. I have two issues that are not the fault of the product. 1st is that it had me connect a wire too the wrong spot. Too me a while to figure out why the house was always cooling down in winter. 2nd was that i had another nest that the website said would be compatible with my current system. I got it, and it was not compatible at all, it turns out. Luckily I didn't pay for the other one. Also of note, the nest had an instant rebate that made the product less expensive. The rebate was through my power company, so check before you buy! All in all, I will have this nest in any future homes.

I bought this model because it works with the wireless temperature sensors. Very easy to set up. I recommend have a c-wire installed. It works without the c-wire but you may have to pull it off and charge it every once and a while. I like that I can set the temperature and run my AC when I’m away from home.

This product looks nice, and that's the major feature. Easy to install, little difficult to configure because of the ring interface. One of the features of this item is self learning, but it doesn't work for you most of the time. It starts running when you actually don't want to, because you ran before at that time. It's annoying. I turned off that feature. I don't think it's useful. My major goal was to be able to control the thermostat via cell phone. You can find a lot of cheaper products for this goal. I didn't think the look was worth the price. It should be $100 cheaper at least.

This thermostat is awesome I can control the temperature from my bedroom, from the road, anywhere I get signal. When I leave work I set the temp down so when I get home it's nice and cool, if I forgot to raise the temp when Ive left the house to save energy hey no worries nest 3rd gen is here. Also keeps a pattern on what temps we like to keep it on and what times. I was skeptical at first but after purchasing it I wouldn't have it any other way. We LOVE it.

I had a professional install the thermostat ($80). Well worth it. I love the look of the thermostat on the wall, the digital display, the programmable features and especially the ability to monitor and control the heat and a/c in my home when I'm not home. It definitely has all the bells and whistle you'll ever need and it's everything as promised by the manufacturer.

Best thing I ever bought for my house. Best does a great job with its products. Easy to set up, easy to read and understand instructions. No need for extra adapters, hooks up to wifi and in about 30 mins was controlling the heat from my phone. Learns your habits too! Buy it you won't regret it

This thermostat is wonderful! Easy to install and very easy to use. I love the flexibility it offers...I was traveling back from Cali and was able to change the temp at home to something I would not mind coming home to. This allows me to keep the AC off when I am out of town or at work and either manually manipulate or schedule my temperatures for the week. This product is well worth its price...I have all the Nest products and love each of them.

This probably one of the best purchases we have ever made. My wife likes to change the temperature in the house often. At night, she likes it cool, but doesn't want to leave the bed. With this device she can set a schedule, allow the nest to learn, or manually change the temp without leaving the bedroom. We have already saved on the gas and electric bill over the last couple months because of this ability to control our temp, looking forward to more benefits in the near future.

The instructions that came along with the thermostat made the installation process very easy. Just do your homework before you begin and you’ll be fine. Very easy to integrate into your home wifi with the app, and then the thermostat takes over and learns your lifestyle! I would buy this product all over again! It has brought my HVAC System into 21st century!

With google nest thermostat, you cannot go wrong anytime. We tried multiple others but this is best bet..especially with option of adding a separate sensor and control temp at different rooms, makes it very good. Highly satisfied and recommend to anyone.
