Easy to install and easy to use connects to your smartphone

I bought this July 4th weekend for around 216 with tax in which I then sent the receipt to my electric company and got a 100$ rebate a few weeks later. Install was very easy, including the wi fi part. NEST sends you a report each month of how much heating/cooling hours you do. The app itself is easy to operate and use, no directions required. If I did not get the rebate I probably would not have bought it, but glad I did.

Looks great and easyt to install. However, a little tricky to navigate once you are in a function - hard to go backward on the menu. Motion sensor lights up when you pass, nice little night light!

This is a wonderful product. I love the fact that after it learns your routine, it adjusts your heat and air the way you like it. It also adjusts itself to an economy mode when you are away from home, if you choose to activate that option.

Works great at my dad's condo. I have a geothermal system at my house and it didn't do well with that. So I would recommend for most simple furnace installations, but not if you have a complicated setup.

It looks sofisticated, it’s easy to manage and self learning is so convenient.

The Nest thermostat is a great addition to the smart home concept. The unit itself is very nice and very easy to install. The wires from the old thermostat connect appropriately and only several screws are needed. The app is also very handy, very easy to use and has the exact same icons/details as if you were actually looking at the thermostat

Was so happy to move back into my home and install this. I can hit the app and turn on my AC unit so that house is much cooler when I get home from work than waiting to turn it on when I got home. Easy to install and operate via mobile phone.

Took me less than 20 minutes to install. It works flawlessly. Hope to see some savings down the road.

I bought this for my parents. They aren’t very tech savvy, but learned how it works quickly. So far, they love the nest! They commented that on the way home from an extended vacation this summer, they were able to turn on the air conditioning via the app a couple hours before they arrived. It was one of the hotter summer days in MN and they really appreciated that the AC was working before they arrived.

For the most part, easy to install - but may need a professional depending on your existing set up - they don’t tell you this before purchase. Lucky I have a friend who is an electrician! Love the internet connectivity and OPPD has a program that links to Nest. They gave me $100 up front and $20 a mo th to agree to Let them regulate thermostat during peak hours. It basically paid for itself!

The learning thermostat works about the same as any other smart thermostat. I do enjoy the WiFi features though since I can turn the air on/off from places other than in my house
