I’ve had the 2nd gen for 4 years. I loved all the functions, For a house it works wonder, your electricity bill will drop a lot if you set it up through the app well! Ours dropped over $100/month. So I will always give this a 5 out of 5 review. I upgraded to the 3rd gen since my warranty was over on the last one.

Very easy to install and very easy to use. I haven't had it long enough to know if it will save me money, but I can tell it is "learning". The app makes it easy to use and it is great to be able to change the temperature from in bed or across the country.

Easy to set up if you follow the instructions and don't try to wing it. Third one I've used now in second house. Really easy to use. No complaints. It will learn your habits, and you can set a schedule so you don't have to remember to turn it back when you go to bed, go to work, etc. Adding sensors is a breeze.

Bought this and had geek squad install a few tweeks and works fine remote control of temperature from anywhere. Love that it lights up to let you know temp before you make an adjustment.

This thermostat is truly amazing . It was recommended to me and I am so happy with it ! I purchased this and the Dot and my Entire house Temperature was completely balanced in 40 minutes and has stayed perfect since ! Even cut my next vectren bill in half ... would definitely and do recommend to everyone !

The nest thermostat is overall a great product! I do get annoyed where it tries to follow your schedule too much. So say for example if I am home on a day where I’m supposed to be at work and I adjust the temp manually, it would eventually go back to the temper it’s at when I’m not home. Probably an easy fix if I go I yo the app but it is annoying at times. Other then that it’s a great buy easy to set up and easy to use.

I have already saved money with the programmable thermostat. If I forget to adjust the temp before I leave the house, I can do it from my smart phone. I get a monthly report showing me where I saved money or where I cost me money. It even associates the energy use with the weather. I love this product. I will be purchasing a second o e for my upstairs asap.

The nest thermostat has given us full control of our house temperature whether home or away. Being able to view your usage history is a great way to help you reduce your energy cost. We are still new to the nest, but so far we love it and are going to purchase a second one for our other heating zone.

Easy to install, look nice on the wall. Easy to learn.

We use 2 of these to control both floors of the house. It works well with Alexa and is easily programed both through the app and the device. They look great and every visitor comments on how cool these look. Install wasn't as straightforward as I thought even with connecting to new A/C's, the wiring didn't match up with the directions and/or website tutorial. Although a quick call to customer support resolved my issue quickly - take pics of the wiring BEFORE you disconnect the original thermostat. I'm very thankful I did as it made the support call effortless to get the wiring correct.

This is a great thermostat. It was easy to install and easy to set up. The app is very easy to use and it does learn your patterns. Quick to save energy and set up a schedule to get the best energy efficiency from your AC unit and heating. Shows you your usage and can integrate with other products. Highly recommend!

I debated for weeks on whether to make this purchase... SO happy I took the plunge! This Nest thermostat is FAR more accurate than the one I originally had... sure to save on the electric bill as a result! Installing was SIMPLE! I'm not a handy man in the least bit, but was able to install this in 15 minutes. MUST BUY!

Easy installation, looks great, easy to use, trusted brand

Not being a handy person, this was easy to install. It will take a while for the auto away assist to fully work. Mine has been up for a week and a half and is spotty, but getting better. Will sync with other automation devices like the Nest Protect (of course), myQ garage door opener, Hue bulbs, and many other things. My only real issue is the price, but for the rest of 2017 you get a rebate from focus in energy so that helps a bit. SmartThings integration would be nice too. There's ways around it from the SmartThings community, but out of the box support would be better.

Easy to install, simple to set up. Love that it memorizes how our heat/electric runs and creates a Schedule. I still can’t get it set up with Alexa but it’s ok. When I have my home to away it automatically changes to away from home, and saves more energy which is awesome.
