At first I was skeptical of replacing my honeywell thermostat, until I see articles about smart home equipments. Thought to myself why not try first with the thermostat. The nest design is the best out there. When you compare it to the ecobee and honeywell smart thermostats, the nest's minimalist design, clickwheel function and easy to grasp menu items takes the cake. You can set it up fairly easily with the instructions in the box but you have to be careful to properly label your old thermostat wires and connect the corresponding colors in the nest. This thermostat is really convenient by controlling it with the nest app so the house is toasty warm when you come home or cool in the summer. Overall a very good buy.

I had bought a NEST off Amazon about two months before I got this one and for some reason it just quit working. Didn't have time to wait for the warranty and bought a new one. Hooked it up and took a few steps with the app on the phone and it was working.

I work a varying schedule so I’m waiting to see how it works with learning my schedule. I’ve noticed a few times that it will think I’m home when I’m not. That could be the days I’ve gotten home later than normal but I’m not sure yet. It was fairly easy to install (although I am pretty handy so that probably depends on you skill/comfort level). Easy to set the app up on my phone and glad I can control it when I’m not home. Waiting to see if there is any noticable energy savings.

This Thermostat will save you money in the long run as it allows you to set optimal temperature for your comfort. The best part about it is that you can operate it remotely via any computer or portable devices. It is an investment that will pay dividends with respect to recuperate the initial cost of acquiring the Nest !

This unit is great and it learned our family movement quick & love how it turns itself up and down to adjust.

We live in an area where you could have the potential for frozen pipes being able to check the temperature while on vacation to make sure everything was good was great

We had 2 Nest Thermostats at our previous home, so when we moved, we made sure to purchase and install in new home! LOVE the control and ease of use! Not sure what the new merge with Google means in regard to 3rd party access, but we shall see...

This is my third nest thermostat. I have been very impressed. I have one upstairs and one downstairs. This one was purchased for my son’s house. They are efficient and learns your routine so you don’t waste energy when you’re not home.

My son suggested I purchase, he has had one for years and loves it. He installed it for me, works like a charm!!! I never knew modern technology like this would be wonderful!! The app on phone was easy set up and the Rebate from Utility company was a Bonus!!!

This thermostat takes care of its own. I do not have to set temperature after a few days after installation it learned what settings I was putting in. Very easy to use and the app works great. I also connected it my google home and now I can control it with voice commands as well.

This Nest Thermostat which is wireless, can be controlled from your cell phone. After the 1st week, it learns your habits and then adjusts the temperature accordingly. The installation process was simple. It was an adjustment for us to get used to this type of wireless product, but once we did, we recommend it to everyone!

I am loving having the Nest thermostat. I always get into bed at night and realize I left the thermostat a degree lower than I would like. Now, I just reach for my phone and make a quick adjustment instead of walking across the house in bare feet and nightgown.

I love the way the nest remembers that we like to turn the temperature cooler at night, now it does it automatically every night (unless we are not home, then it goes to eco mode). Also love using the app on my phone to adjust the nest any way i would like. It's great compared to my old thermostat...

Great item. Very easy to install and works like a champ.

The nest was very easy to install. Even easier to manage compared to my programmable thermostat I had before this. You can really start to see where you can manage your cooling costs during the summer in Arizona.
