    This product looks nice, and that's the major feature. Easy to install, little difficult to configure because of the ring interface. One of the features of this item is self learning, but it doesn't work for you most of the time. It starts running when you actually don't want to, because you ran before at that time. It's annoying. I turned off that feature. I don't think it's useful. My major goal was to be able to control the thermostat via cell phone. You can find a lot of cheaper products for this goal. I didn't think the look was worth the price. It should be $100 cheaper at least.

    I hooked it up in 10 minutes, it linked to my wifi, I installed the app on my phone and it all worked!

    This is the 2nd Nest we've bought, the 1st stayed with the home we sold, but we loved it so much, we had to add it to our new home. If you are on a routine that you & yours leave the house early and return in the evening, this is a must. It learns your schedule, turns the heat/air off while you're gone thus saving energy & money on the electric bill. And will turn it on shortly before you arrive home so your home is comfortable and not too hot or cold!
