Bought this to replace an old mercury thermostat on an AC/heat pump unit for a small section of our house that includes a sunroom and storage room. They are not well insulated and the unit was running virtually non-stop to keep up. I was hoping that this would help with efficiency, or at least enable us to view statistics to adjust settings to keep the room a more consistent temperature. While it hasn't been in place long enough to know for certain, it does appear that the unit is running less and the temperature is definitely more stable. It took me a while to figure out the wiring from our old thermostat, which is my only knock on it. Once I was able to determine that, installation was easy.

Just added this to my home automation and it works great. I love asking my Amazon Dot to turn or or down the temperature whenever I want. It works great!

Okay so these Nest units are super easy, but you have to know that your AC unit is right. This one worked but the last house I was in wouldn't work. I ended up with the Ecobee and compared to the Nest it's not nearly as easy to use.

This product works great was simple to wire and surprisingly has allot of features that I actually use . I think the programming is the best part .

We've been using our Nest for almost two months now and it is one of the best choices we've made to save money and be more energy efficient. The install took us MAYBE 15 minutes from opening the box to getting registered on the site to submitting for our rebate through our local power company. The reports you get from Nest are great to really keep tabs on your usage, the iPhone app is clean and easy to use, and the intuitiveness of the whole system is spot on. We've kept our temperature settings within the "efficient" range and have had no complaints or discomfort in acclimating to the changes.

Purchased this thermostat for our vacation home. We love being able to control the temps while away. We've saved so much money already and it's only been a month!

The installation was easy. It just took a few wire connections. The setup online was even easier. The app is very user friendly. I'm using it on an iPhone 6 plus.

Nest allows me to control the temperature remotely! It also learns my patterns and adjust without being told!

The nest does exactly what its suppose too. I like the home and away feature which turns the thermostat down when I am away from home.

Exactly what this product promises. Worth it !! Don't forget to request your rebate .. really recommend to read all instructions before you start to install.
