All is good.....I mean.....cool.....the good thing about the nest or similar wifi products.. ..you can control them remotely....

Purchased the NEST 3rd GEN during the Black Friday sale. Absolutely easy install. Already saving $ after 2 weeks. This will definitely pay for itself in 1st year.

It has a lot of convenient capabilities, plus it's cheaper than the Amazon Echo Show 8 which costs about $130. However, it definitely doesn't have audio and video equal to that of the Amazon Echo Show, so that choice boils down to your personal preferences.

This was easy to install and program. It is working well and learning how we use heat and will help maintain temperature better than our old thermostat

I did a lot of research before I settled on the Nest and I'm so glad I did. The Nest syncs with Alexa and I like the option of controlling the temp while I'm away.

Initial Nest Thermostat went bad after a couple of days, Best Buy exchanged without hassle. Second thermostat has worked without a hitch since then. Neat upgrade for the home.

I've had a Next 2nd generation for a couple of years and it's worked so well that I got a Nest for my son's house. Now I can monitor and manage both houses. Economical - it learns your habits and uses the knowledge to reduce energy consumption when you're not home or when you're sleeping. Convenient - the furnace or A/C can fire up when you're a few minutes away from home so the house is comfortable by the time you walk in the door. And it works with Google Home or Amazon Echo so you can start the heat just as you're getting ready to shower, and then dial it back when you're dressed, all with voice commands.

Love it, use it every day, and prefer the Nest to any other solution. I'd say it is strictly superior and more convenient than any other company's smart thermostat, though the thing that annoys me the most is the fact that you cannot set a heating and cooling schedule in a way that normal human beings would like to. So for example, if you want the thermostat to heat your home in the morning up to 70 degrees, you have to set a schedule. But then, you have actually turn on your thermostat to the heat setting as if you're trying to turn it on immediately, and then set the target temperature to really low so it doesn't do anything. In the morning, it will automatically adjust at the correct time to the real temperature. Quite a weird and annoying way of setting a schedule.

I’m happy with this purchase. It’s so much easier to be able to control the thermostat from my phone.
