Great thermostat

Still would recommend nest at the top of the list, but it really is beneficial if you are in the Google smart home ecosystem.

Amazing.

It's ability to automatically set a schedule based upon your being home or away is one of the most useful features. Only issue occurred during installation, as the thermostat states that it does not require a "common" (C) wire for power. That is incorrect, as the thermostat does not function properly without one. If a C wire is not used for power, then the thermostat will obtain a charge by sending a pulse to your HVAC unit every minute or so...in my case, this caused my A/C to turn off every minute. I'd say if you can run a C wire or if you have one available, that is the recommended way to install.
