We can activate the cool or heat on our way home and have it just right for our 10 month old. In addition, our utility bill has declined by over 10%.

Had initial difficulties getting the humidifier to work. Later replaced furnace with a Carrier product. Installers could not get to work with Nest until spending hours on phone with support. A month later furnace started turning off and on. Diagnosed as problem with Nest Thermostat. Ended up buying an Ecobee and now all works fine.

Controlling the air was a drag...the NEST thermostat changed how and when we do so. we've also saved on our bill; peanuts...but still...because we now have full control.

The away mode is nice because it saves on heating and cooling when no ones home and you can cool it or heat it before you arrive home.
