I was a bit skeptical in buying a "smart' thermostat, but now I am "converted". The learning feature in terms of being out of home is awesome! Slick, modern, and high tech.

If you don't already have a Nest, go out and get one now! It's one of the best investments for reducing your heating and cooling costs. The interface is very intuitive, and I love that you can use the app to see what your heating and cooling is doing when you are away from home (especially nice if you have pets at home while you're out of town). I constantly hear from my neighbors how high their bills are, and ours is consistently very low because we can pre-program our unit to run only during the most efficient hours and not during peak (aka expensive!!) hours.

It’s nice that the Nest learns your schedule and adjust accordingly to reduce overall cooling cost. It’s still learning so time will tell on the actual savings.

The Nest design is modern, compact & is a dramatic improvement from my old thermostat. I really like the ability to monitor activity via my iPhone.

It knows when we're away and sets the temp to the lowest, you can also connect with my alarm system so when I put my alarm away it would automatically know what to do!

I am retired and have a not-so fixed schedule. This device allows a different sched for every day of the week, and when I forget to tell it I'm away, I can from my cell phone.

Love Nest products! We had a rinky dink thermostat that decided to power off whenever it felt like it before we switched to this amazing one! You can control the temp by phone. It also gets used to your own adjustments. No issues. Setting up is quite simple. Highly recommend! Worth the money. It also looks very nice and modern

Couldn't be happier with the nest. The moment i plugged it in, the nest started learning out tendencies and couldn't be easier to operate. Mobile ap is a huge perk!
