This 3rd generation Nest is going to replace my 2nd generation Nest downstairs and the 2nd generation Nest will replace my thermostat upstairs. I love all of the functionality and features of the Nest!

I was replacing a carpet cleaner that I purchased in the 1980's. It still works and I wondered to myself why I would want a new one, but the difference is amazing. It cleans so much better.

Bought when Comed and Nicor had rebates running, bought for 50 dollars, couldn't pass up, glade I didnt. Can see usage via online, phone app control. Very easy to use and self explanatory.

Prior to buying our home I started researching ways to save on energy bills. After receiving a few gift cards finally decided to buy the nest. It has been about a month and the nest is quickly learning and adapting to our patterns! It's still too early to see how it affects our energy bills but I hope it's for the positive!

I ate a hotdog once and this time I didn't feel sad about it because my house kept me comfortable. You will love eating hotdogs. Perfect fit for the everyday person, or people that love hotdogs.

I always wanted the Nest. When I got it for Christmas, I was so pumped to just install it. It looks amazing and the mobile app is fantastic. Also it syncs with Google home and Alexa.

Nest is a great smart thermostat, easy to set up, program and get going. It does go into eco mode when you’re not home that will help you save on the energy bill

I don't know why I waited so long to jump on the Nest bandwagon, but boy am I glad to have done so. The integration and ease of use is amazing. By far a well worth item to own!

The first Nest Smart Thermostat I bought lasted about 4 months and the wi-fi card stopped working. No matter what I did, I could not get it reconnected. I had Best Buy send a technician from Geek squad to check it out and he couldn't get it reconnected to wi-fi either. It wouldn't even look for wi-fi networks. He decided it was the wi-fi card. Since I'm a TotalTech member I had the old one uninstalled and and new Nest installed after almost two weeks of mix ups on the scheduling of the uninstall and install. Best Buy now farms out this work to a second party instead of using the Geek Squad and they couldn't get their act together except for one guy who finally helped me and did both the uninstall and install on the same day so I wouldn't have to go without A/C in 100 degree plus temperatures overnight. Now the new thermostat is acting up. At first everything was fine and I could control it from the thermostat, my Nest app and by voice using Alexa. Now Alexa voice control won't work and I can't get it reconnected and I'm at a lost. I'm afraid to go back to Best Buy because of what happened before so I'm just going without voice control, which I miss at night when I'm in bed.

Good product so far, bought it after Christmas as a gift.

I didn’t know how I survived this long with out My wifi thermostat, my heat bill has improved significantly, I would recommend that you get one.

We have saved a significant amount on our bill since installing this. It can be a bit sensitive to power flickers and has to be reset, but over all, a great product.

Love my Nest. Set the temp before I get home to come back to the temperature I desire. The auto-scheduling works perfectly and the rebate for my electric bill cuts the price of the Nest in half.

I really love the NEST suite of products. Besides the price point great product. I have noticed a decrease in my heating/cooling bill. I would recommend this product to everyone that I know.

Everything about this product is wonderful... Laying in bed... Too cold ?? Don't want to get up?? Grab your phone or tablet!! With the app you can control the temperature..no glitches just perfection.

Saved $1-$2/day immediately. FYI, tape your wires so the don’t touch and arch. If it does it will blow the 5amp “car” type fuse in your air handler unit.

The learning part is really good. For the first week, you set it to desired temperatures, and from then on the machine learning algorithm kicks in and takes care of temperatures automatically.

this thermostat is a little pricey, but after having this for a few months now, I have been able to cut my utility bill by 10%, this thing will definitely pay for itself in the long run
