The thermostat keeps track of everything, how long the air conditioner was running to knowing when you are home and not home. You control it from your phone. Great energy effecient product.

We bought the nest thermostats as part of our home automation systems. It works well with our automation platform that controls the security cameras, WiFi speakers and lighting.

The Nest thermostat is great. It can help you save by having access outside of the home. You can also create a better range of preferred temperature instead of just having one set number.

My first smart home purchase. I love that i can set it up to turn on /off when i am away from home. Not ro mention schedule to turn on/off on its own. I cant wait to get the battery smoke detector

Third generation is a good update to the already good Nest Thermostat. I added a second one to my new home, for dual control. Just be careful to realize that many of the default settings may leave you uncomfortable in a heat wave if your unit isn't capable of catching up quickly (most aren't).

This is a great thermostat. Had a little trouble figuring out the right wiring, called the help number and they were awesome. Had it hooked up and working in no time with their help.

This thermostat has saved us a lot of money and regulating the temp in the house.

Overall it is a great product, easy to set up. But some thing wrong with internet connection. Google Nest replaced new one.

On the first one the battery went bad after about 34 years. When i opened it to replace it I noticed the original battery leaked and messed up the board. Supposedly that was a lithium battery and should not have leaked. Weird. I would not recommend this thermostat though if you have an iPhone and Apple watch. Initially Google had an app for the watch which they discontinued.

Upgraded from 2nd generation to 3rd generation so we could have sensor in other rooms. Nest works great except we cannot get it to link to Alexa like we had with 2nd generation. 5 stars if it would link.

This is a must have for your home. I can use the app easily and the install was super easy and the best part you can get rebate off your bill for gas and electric

This thermostat will be part of my home monitoring system. In addition to this I will be adding some Nest smoke/CO detectors and remote cameras.

Purchased two Nest learning thermostats and so wanted them to work. After 6hours of customer support, my home was deemed incompatible, due to a C wire. Home is less than 2 years old. Fan would not turn off and nest face would not charge. Nest customer service was fantastic. However, i do believe; Nest needs make some minor changes to make the unit more compatible. They offer to reimburse for the cost of a C WIRE install, with a limit of $300. Since i needed two units installed (C wire) the cost was way higher. With the price of the nest, i didnt feel the investment was worth additional costs. Was sadly disappointed and let down. If nest is offering to assist with Cwire install (up to $300), Why not upgrade the product (allow for batteries) and or add an adapter which incorporates the C wire (like ecobee). Nest can do better.

The google nest thermostat does a great job allowing me to control my heat while I'm away from my house. Installation was easy!
