    Love this product and have installed in two homes. Straight forward for HVAC system. Do not self-install with a heat pump.

    I like how it looks, just feel that the operating system needs to be easier to understand or just flow better, maybe I was just expecting more features. It's not hard or bad. It's supposed to turn off when we leave but I always check the app and it's still on.

    We are really happy with the Nest. Great when you travel. Another perk is the energy efficiency - only downside is that the absence setting causes the temperature to rise in the summer over night while you are in the house asleep - so we turned thay off when we are home.

    Does exactly what it should, set schedule and forget it. Manageable via smart apps, Google, etc. Perfect if you opted for the Google smart platform technology. I still think it's too expensive for what it does.
