This is a sharp looking and practical thermostat. It takes a bit getting used to for the learning feature to get it right. I mostly like the fact that I can connect it to my Google Home and control it with my voice.

The Nest thermostat is a wonderful item to add to a home. It offers control at your fingertips, even when not at home.

Loved the idea to manage my furnace but it didn't work with our GEO furnace so needed to return it.

I am truly bummed out - I had high hopes for this but after hours and hours on the phone with Verizon / Frontier Fios tech support and NEST support and even putting them on speaker phone with each other, it turns out we have a NON COMPATIBLE ROUTER!!! Turns out there are other non compatible routers out there too. We both work at home and the Nest after a month still hasn't learned we like it to be 77-78 in the afternoon, but around 3:30 it decides to make it 80 degrees. Going to sell it on E-Bay and buy just a programmable (non connected) unit.

Simple to install and program, with a sleek form factor. Download the app and control from your phone. Easy. Top complaint would be the auto-learning features don't always pick up what's actually going on with usage needs, so you'll need to remember to check your app and set your Nest to "Away" for it to enter eco mode. Other minor grievance would be fan controls; the fan can only be set in hour increments and can't be pre-programmed, but that's just an interest in generating some white noise (and there are other ways to accomplish that).

It works good I believe. The ac is not working right but that could be just hooked up wrong. Going to investigate later.

I've always wanted one of these, but just never got around to getting one. I recently put in new central air conditioning at my sister's house and decided to finally get one. It is such a nice thing to have, now the central air will no longer be on unnecessarily and it is just a great feeling to have control over it from where ever you are. I loved it so much that I added two more E versions and I plan on getting 1 more to complete every zone in the house.

This Nest is so intuitive.. I am Amazed at how much info is acquired and shared through this Lil Dial.. Looks Great too!!!
