    I did the install myself. Was really easy. Took about 10 minutes to take off the old thermostat and install the Nest. The Nest has a cool app that I use on my iPad to control the settings.

    The product works very well. The included monthly report is very helpful. Only drawback is the limitation on settings for away temps. With 2 dogs in the house, the A/C away setting doesn't go below 78, which is quite warm if it's humid.

    I have never really thought or cared about having a fancy thermostat...until now and I am OBSESSED with the nest! You can control and program it remotely from the convenience of your own cell phone. It has also helped a great deal with our electric bill. Totally worth the money in my opinion. Plus it looks really nice on the wall.
