This thermostat is only worth the price if you qualify for the energy efficiency rebate. Don't know why it is called "smart". The only smart thing is the price charged. Like most thermostats it can connect to wifi and other smart assistants like Alexa. One annoying feature is that it lights up every time you walk by it ..to the temp. It would be better if it could light up to time/date. Perhaps it can but seems like a lot of work to figure out how to make this happen. It comes with a white back plate that is not appealing to the eye and is not shown in most pictures.

On line directions for the install made it all easy. Performance since was as advertised. Great product!

We purchased the Nest Security Cameras and they worked so well we wanted to add this to mix! It works great! We love it!

A little difficult to set up but once it was synced and linked to my phone it works great

My current system had 4 wires out already, so it was pretty easy to install. Remote access is a big reason i got it for!

This is my second Nest thermostat. I have attached it to my Alexa. Highly re commend this product.

Nest is the easiest setup in my opinion. I’ve had Honeywell too but they’re not as intuitive as Nest.

Great thermostat happy to see nest came thru with this piece.

We recently lost AC over the weekend at our office, so when we returned Monday morning it was about 85* in the office. We have had issues before and dragged our feet purchasing a unit, but finally did it. We wanted to be able to monitor the temp from away from the office. We also liked the app features allowing us to change the temp if we forgot to. It also monitors our office to help keep the temperature in line throughout he day as we get busy or slow down. I would give 4.5 stars, only due to the price. Of course when I needed it, it was not on sale. I did get a free item with it. We also purchased a wall plate separately to help clean up the wall from where our old unit was.

This product was an excellent purchase. It has really helped keep the temperature in my house constant.

Great product, it does exactly what it says it does and I look forward to saving money on my utility bills going forward.
