    I bought it to control the zone that can influence all other zones, and it has done its job. The fact that I can access it when away from home is a big plus and helps minimizes unnecessary operation.

    If you have the option to buy the sensors with the Nest do it. Within a week I ended up buying them and it's so amazing. I put sensors in the bedrooms and the thermostat in the livingroom. Then on the app I simply let it know which room to measure the temp from. Its perfect for me, considering one of my bedrooms gets the afternoon and evening sun so it was literally 9 degrees hotter in that room.... I could see it right there on the app!! This way I regulate the air better in the summer and the heat better in the winter. The reason I gave it a four is because the app is not very intuitive. I'm a software admin and I even had a hard time grasping the options.

    Was resistant at first because I had a programmable thermostat but this goes way beyond. Has helped us reduce our energy by at least 10% even while working at home now 100% since last March. Great access from phone app and easily adjusted if needed. Learning took about 6mo to really understand our preferences. Should be interesting to see the changes after the pandemic.
