Simple thermostat to use

We don't have a perfect schedule to setup a dumb thermostat, so the geolocation is great using the Nest app to set the house to eco mode when we're gone. I wish Nest provided more detailed ad-hoc reporting more than the monthly email recap they send you. I control these with our Amazon Echos/Google Mini's around the house to change the temp.

One worked and the other stopped connecting to the internet after 9mos. I reached out to google sipport and after some trouble shooting they sent me one with a temp charge to my account saying if i ididint return the old thermostat i would be charged. The replacment did not work, even worst then the one which i had. It took some time to trouble shoot and i even hired an electrician in case i was doing it wrong. Conclusion was that this replacment was a refurbished thermostat. I asked Google for an extention to ensure i was able to fedex back on time and prior to the suspense date being completed they charged me $235 for the replacment that didnt wven work and i no longer had. Over $600 later plus the cost of an electrician and I WOULD NEVER BUY GOOGLE product again. What a scam !!!!!

GREAT !!! But, buy the warranty

I saw an immediate decrease in my electric bill. But, buy a warranty. My first one failed after about 15 months erasing all my savings. Spend the money. By the warranty.
