We had an issue during the installation setup so we called customer service. Well, the lady found the issue very quickly and stayed on the phone until it was fixed. Awesome service

Installed and it worked like a charm for about 6 months. Then it kept disconnecting from WIFI and only able to work manually. Then it quit altogether. Best Buy total home services simply opened the second I hadn’t opened yet and replaced it three months ago. They couldn’t get it to work either. Worked ok for three months and when we needed the air to work, it started blowing heat. Followed all the instructions found online and nothing worked. Had our heat and ac guy show up today and he checked everything and reinstalled our 15 year old old thermostat and all is fine and working. Complete waste of money. Bought hoping to save and I can go back to moving the thermostat on my own every day.

Overpriced and not that smart

Unfortunately, they are nothing more than a giant pain in the rump. It is not possible to turn off the eco setting, so if my home’s temperature stays at 70 degrees for more than an hour or two, it drops the set temperature to 62 for eco reasons. Except it’s the middle of winter in northern Michigan. And no matter how many times we turn this setting off, it turns itself back on. We were much happier with the cheap digital thermostats that we had before.
