You may want to check for any wireless interference that can affect the connectivity of your thermostat. We also recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested, which may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. If your other thermostat is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

Now its November and the unit is dead and does not work. Died on the coldest morning we had so far. Started by the battery slowly not keeping full charge. Only lasted 3 months and is outside the return window and google seems like there not guna do anything about it.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the first year i used it was flawless, it sat in storage for the 2nd year and now i recently purchased a home and decided to connect it to our system, the spin will stopped spinning as i assume the grease dried up and my new ac unit would go on and off multiple times when activated it, i ended up switching to my old thermostat that came with the home and everything is back to normal. I called nest and they could not help me so if you want a thermostat that last a year this is for you, otherwise i would stay away.

Not so great or Smart

After hiring 4 different people who did not know what they were doing all screwed up my units core wiring i decided to return it. I purchased an ecobee4 and whent trough another couple of installers who made things worse i found one who had to fix all the previous handlers mistakes and ended up paying 700.00 to have the new Ecobee4 installed. So, i am not to happy after all that!

This is a hunk of garbage. It is overly difficult to use. and before your ask, yes - i am tech savvy but the user interface is pretty but very unfriendly. Took it back - So happy Best Buy has a customer friendly return policy.
