However, on heat mode, it just kept running past the desired temperature even after turning the thermostat off. This didn't happen on the cooling mode, as it shut off on it's own after reaching the target temp. In short, this thermostat ran our system longer than our previous one did and requires more monitoring. Their website troubleshooting was no help.

There were no asterisk stating this would not happen in certain circumstances. When I called to get my new "Nest Thermostat" installed the Geek Squad representative told me they do not install this product in OHIO. Bummer, I guess I move to another state or return this interracial product to the store, Sad!

We think that there is a problem with my wiring configuration so I had to return it for now and will have my system checked out by an A/C specialist. Therefore I cannot rate it at this time but it is making me do a rating before I leave this screen so that said I can't give a high rating. They should have a no rating option.

Doesn't work

I reinstalled the old smart thermostat this was supposed to replace and everything worked fine. I do not recommend this product at all.
