Installation and setup was pretty easy (I'm an engineer) and they work very well. I did have a problem with one unit that I haven't yet resolved. It sees my local WiFi and is logged into it, but will not communicate with the app on my iPhone even the the other three work well. I'm out-of-state for some of the holidays and I can see the temps on 3 of the 4, and they all went into Eco mode automatically, lowering the temperatures to save energy. Probably because the motion sensors don't sense anyone there.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was concerned the Nest might not be compatible with my 100 year old hot water / radiator heating system, not to mention that there are only two wires leading to the thermostat. A friend has the same configuration, and he told me not to worry. Well - it works! Our central AC system has a separate thermostat in another part of the house. It would be nice if Nest would develop a wireless connection so one thermostat could operate both systems.

It is NOT, the newest gen thermostat looks more gunmetal-ish than pure black...ended up having to buy 2 of these just so I can have the same finish for upstairs and downstairs.
