This is the 3rd Nest thermostat I have purchased. I love the apps on the 3rd generation that I can use on my phone or tablet. It's very easy to read especially for my elderly mother. I will recommend Nest Thermostats to all of my friends co-workers and family members!

I was a little reluctant on buying this item as I've heard people talk badly about smart thermostat's and it actually running up electric bills. Not so at all, this thing is amazing. It's not all that easy to install as the videos state. Luckily my brother the HVAC tech installed it for me or else it would still be in the box. Depending on how old your house is, will depend upon how easy it is to install yourself. But once it is installed it is amazing!

Love my Nest Thermostat. Being able to see our usage really helps me understand pur energy usage. And being able to control the temperature from my phone was a life saver with a newborn!

Got this thermostat for the automatic features to help lower heating costs. So far it is working great.

Been great but wifi problem does happen. But a quick reset will help.

Easy to install and very easy to use. Rebate offer made the purchase worthwhile. The device can be controlled and monitored by your phone app. Nice feature especially when traveling.

I am trying to be green and not have ac running while I am not home. Took me a few weeks to get on a regular schedule, happy to say that the nest is an amazing product. Regulates my heat and ac. Living in Texas, with extreme weather changes, I will have to readjust but money well spent

After repeated request from family,purchased one only for now as I had rebates from utility comp.Waiting to see how much I can save on bills.Product working fine and pleasing design.May buy another one when price is low.

I should have read more reviews. There are lots of things I like about this thermostat, although it comes up short; and I bought four for my home and am now committed! The biggest gap is that there is no HOLD TEMP feature. I had to turn off learning and delete schedules to use two of them like manual thermostats; a waste of money other than the ability to adjust from my phone. Next, I had a lot of set-up issues; multiple attempts per thermostat were required. Finally, the AWAY feature or Geofencing has yet to work. This was very important to me. I really like the Remote Sensor functionality, although already had a problem. After running fine for several days, one sensor disconnected from its thermostat. After much troubleshooting, I found that the sensor was fine and I had to reset the connected thermostat. The learning feature is nice, but without the other features I mentioned, it’s just another thermostat. I feel I could have spent less and received equal or superior results with another brand, such as the Honeywell T9.

Better temperature control, but after some time keeps setting by itself.

Its great to have a thermostat that you can adjust with your phone or the google hub rather than an old one that had to constantly be adjusted

Works well with our new A/C unit. Wasn't difficult to setup via the Nest app and add additional temperature sensors. Not able to compare to other smart thermostats as this is the first we've had. Seems pretty great so far.

Good. Could be better with Matter support so it would work with Apple Home. Google's cheaper thermostat supports Matter, no reason this one shouldn't. It has all the necessary hardware for it.

Forget having to walk across the house if you forget to turn down the thermostat before bed! It only took a few days for the thermostat to start learning our preferences. Very happy with the decision to purchase.

love the app. you can control the temp in your house from anywhere. love the design and responsiveness. pretty awesome that it can automatically change from hot to cooling. it knows when you are coming home and can turn on. overall, pretty nice. my house definitely feels more stable between the nights and days.
