Very quick to install, and nest techs are incredibly helpful. The app is very easy to use and helps create energy saving heating/cooling schedules that you can edit down to the minute.

The Nest 3rd generation thermostat lives up to the reviews that is the best thermostat on the market. The only improvement I would make would be to have a more interactive schedule on the app.

This is actually our third Nest Thermostat so, obviously, we love it. Why, then, only 4 stars? My ONLY complaint is they have an awkward scheduling system when you want to set the thermostat to automatically adjust the temperature based on the time of day, in particular if you use the “Heat-Cool” Mode (set a maximum heat and minimum cool range, like 72-69, and depending on the temperature in the home, the thermostat will automatically cool or heat your home. This is a fantastic feature which is hard to program by the hour/day, but once a day is set up to your liking, it can be copy/pasted to every other day to save time. If Google would figure out an easier way to select the temperatures (other than their sliding scale which moves both cool and hot at the same time, which may not meet your needs), this review would be 5 stars…

Great product, easy installation and also easy to use.

I purchased and installed the nest a few days ago and have loved it. Our house has felt very comfortable. I really like the eco settings that help you use the device more efficiently. I also really like the home/away feature that responds to your phone's location and adjusts the temperature automatically when you leave the house or come home. It makes me want to purchase some of the other nest products!

Simple to use. Easy interface. Love the simplicity and elegance of this technology.

Not a simple as one hoped, but in the end got it running. I replaced a Gen 1 Nest, so the wiring was not difficult. The biggest problem was the 6 digit combo to enter, mine was XY0GTT. It took multiple tries until I figured out the "0" was a zero and not an O. Someone, smarter than me, should have thought to never to use O/0 in the code. Nest was better as a stand alone company, instead of under Google's umbrella

I highly recommend this product to anyone whom does not have a smart thermostat! It is 1000x easier to set schedules with an app on your phone vs on an analog device. Not to mention this thing is packed full of features to make you more comfortable and save you money! Do yourself a favor and pair it with additional add on room thermostat to control a specific room temp.

Love being able to set my thermostat from anywhere. Works great with Alexa (Echo Dot).
