Now I can leave the house, set my temperature for when im back and save a little money while my air conditioner isn't running! Why leave it going if no ones home? There is only one issue I've dealt with that prevents me from giving it a full 5 stars. I admit that the issue I will state may be my own lack of knowledge, but it is my only frustration nonetheless. My Nest has learned the temps we use, and has automatically programmed itself (awesome). However during the day when it is set to 75 degrees it will allow the temp to get all the way to 79. I'm not sure why that happens, and it seems like more work to get it back to 75 after getting that high, Overall though, I love it!

What a great upgrade from an ancient Honeywell Thermostat and Humidistat. I talk to it every time I pass it. (It doesn't answer, tho! Lol) Glad I waited for the 3rd Gen LEARNING NEST. Very pleased... Purchased 1 month ago. Professionally installed.

I can just use my phone to do so! I also love the fact that it has a schedule in setting temperatures. Controls are very easy to learn and build quality is solid.

I bought two for my home the mountains, and this one for my office in Redwood City. Extreme opposites in temperature and requirements. Looking forward to integrating other devices to improve convenience and comfort, and to save some energy and the costs associated with heating in the mountains and cooling in the office.

Leave the house and forget to turn it down. just pull up the app and let her go. Coming home early from work? Just turn the heat up when you leave the house.
