    first of all, make sue totally unplug your ac before install, otherwise, so easy to burn your A/C control board's fuse. I have to run to hardware store to get 3a fuse to replace the one that I burned when I install. really like this controler, everyone should get one in your home. so convenience to remote control via smartphone. recommend

    When I started using it, my AC unit was not running as effectively. I noticed (during the heat of the summer), that my house was consistently hotter and not cooling down from when the AC ran. It's valuable being able to control your thermostat from anywhere; would be nice if it worked better.

    1.) I love the location feature that links to our phones. It’s a so convienent to be able to leave the house and not have to remember to turn down the thermostat. I would like to see a feature that turns the thermostat up when you are almost home so that its not cold when I get home. 2.) I appreciate being able to check the temperature when I’m at work and my dogs a dogs are home. What concerns me is that fin my boiler broke I would never get an alert. I wish I could set a temperature that would trigger an alarm.

    I am constantly in and out of my home, due to the nature of my job...having to adjust a standard thermostat was a pain, even a programmable one! The Nest thermostat has learned my patterns and has helped save me money on my electric and gas bills! Worth the money and will pay for itself quickly. Bonus feature...you can control from your phone!
