It'll take you less than 30 seconds to get comfortable with the pressure and dial controls. You do not need a professional to install this. Watch a youtube video on installation first to give you an idea, shut off your electricity, remove your old device, then color coordinate the wires, and you're good to go.

We were able to install in under 30 minutes. My only complaint is the schedule doesn't always work as well as we would like.

With the available ComEd ($100) and Nicor ($50) rebates this thermostat is not much more expensive than a standard programmable thermostat. It was simple to install and easy to program. Unfortunately we are in between seasons here in Illinois so I can't attest to the actual cost savings of the learning features just yet.

I wasn;t sold on smart thermostats initially, but decided to try it out because PGE offered a rebate. I quickly realized I should have done this ages ago - super easy to use, and most importantly, saves me a ton on energy bills!

Installer was on time polite, very knowledgeable. Out of box tv was damaged which he noticed right away. Went back to store for another tv and return asap. Installed new tv and did a great job. This is the 4th time I've used Best Buy's Geek Squad and recommend them.

Useful specially whith kids! I can program the temperature of all my home from my office! Specially for the Winter/Summer's days!

I installed 6 thermostat in my home, I can control all A/C´s from my cel phone. I leve all my air conditioners on, when I get out of the house, the thermostats don´t detect any movements so it aauthomatically thurns of, it represent good savings on power

Nearly immediately after hooking my nest thermostat up, I started saving money. I would turn the air up while at work and it made a huge difference. Plenty of ways to help you save money, and automate your house warming/cooling. Amazing thermostat and would say every house should have one.

It’s our 2nd Nest Thermostat. I only bought a second one because we don’t have a C wire. However, even after charging the Nest, it still did not want to power on. It powered on out the box and died shortly after installing. Hot air was blowing not sure what was wrong with the connection. Will be trying the Touchscreen Honeywell with a C wire adapter.

We should have purchased one of these years ago. It has a memory based on the temps you want to set it up has. We has a minor issue with the order but an online Supervisor stepped right up and corrected the problem. We will see you very soon Best Buy

Great thermostat, bought in order to utilize the humidistat feature and to replace a Nest Thermostat E that did not have that feature. Would rank 5 stars if the relative humidity would adjust according to the outside temperature, but you have to keep an eye on it and monitor on your own it seems. Still, kept me from having to install a humidistat on my return, so all in all, worth it.

Easy to install. Like using the app since we're always in and out of the house. Peace of mind.

Overall it’s a good product. Easy to install and used. One issue is that the all takes a while to load every time that is opened. This may not be an issue for most. I already had another smart thermostat and with all the other issues it had, it would load in an instant when I wanted to change the temperature in the middle of the night (rather than waiting at least 20-30 seconds with this).

Really great instructions, easy to install and setup.

Make sure it works on your system before installing. It works great if it does otherwise you can damage your equipment.
