We have a two wire connection for the thermostat. Bought another brand that required three. Device gets power from wires you connect...no batteries! Easy app control!

Overall nice interface and easy to use. Getting used to a smart one is tricky. But works great.

I like the design and the economy it gives you. It learns when you left home and save the AC.... Easy to install and if needed they have a great support team to help you.

Really like the Nest, simple to use and control remotely. Needed help installed, called support, they stayed on the phone till it was installed.

I read reviews on smart thermostats probably for about 6 months before actually deciding to purchase one. First I had to make sure I was getting one that would work with my AC unit. I finally decided to get the nest and I am glad I did. As someone who has never installed something like this It was easy and the follow-up system check ensured that everything was connected properly. I have it connected to my Google Home unit and feel like I am no longer in the dark ages. I am also seeing the savings on my heating/cooling bill, which will have paid for the cost of this unit in about 5-6 months at the rate I am going.

I love this. It was very easy to setup. My system had a Y, G, W, and RH wires. After plugging them in while watching the Nest install video on youtube, everything booted right up on the first try. The app works very good. There is no lag when setting a temp on the app and it changing at my house. I love the fact that it turns off the heat or the AC unit but keeps the fan running for a Little bit longer to keep push the air. This saves on the bills but it keeps doing what it should. Over all I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a WiFi enabled Thermostat.

Dont know how i went so long without one. Setting the heat/cooling temps and forgetting it, or makong a small adjustment while laying in bed, the convienence is worth every penny.

Good looking, convenient. I still strugle into knowing some things about temp adjustment.

There is very little assistance provided in the actual wiring setup of this device. I have a humidifier as part of my system. This thermostat will control the humidifier, but I had to rewire inside of the heater unit to make it work. I had to figure this out from YouTube not from Google's help.

The installation and set up too about 20 mins. Love all the features. Hope to start saving money soon

I nearly bought nest thermostat on four other occasions, but inevitably put it back on the shelf. I am glad to say I did finally buy it and really do believe it's worth it. If you're a data geek or just simply love the convenience of adjusting the temperature from your bed.

This is my second purchase of the season. It is very user friendly. This thermostat can be controlled by iPhone or android. Saving on utility bill.

I purchased these to help our home be more energy efficient. These are a no brainer if you are looking to save some cash on your electric bill.

Very easy install and setting up. Had it in and going in 30 minutes. I have one on both my units.

One isn't enough. Three friends of mine bought theirs before me. Now I can easily lower my bills by having the nest go to eco mode when I'm not home, I can't be at two places at once. Airwaves sends out that extra free cold air, colder house, better comfort. I've installed two by myself. No problems since. I'm based on OS systems, nest keeps growing into HomeKit. Doesn't have room to room advantage like the ecobee. But I didn't review the ecobee after all right ? Nest is now paired to my hue system. If you are in the border, buy nest during holiday sales. Enjoy, cold air.

Very simple installation and setup, it's obviously more expensive than your standard thermostat but most energy companies will give you a rebate back for purchasing it to help with the cost. Combined with the cost savings it will give you on your energy bill it is a no brainer.
