Dropped my energy bill tremendously. Being able to set the temperature of the house so you wake up warm and go to bed cold is incredible. I will never go back to owning a regular thermostat.

Very easy to install with the included equipment and wall plate. Wiring was super easy and I had it up and running in under 10 minutes. The learning function is working even better than I expected. I rarely have to change the temp I'm usually just checking the app for all of the interesting info. The rebate from my utility company makes it a better value than if you were paying full price.

Pros: Easy to use. Nest app works well and is the only way I have used to program/alter the schedule. Cons: Sometimes we just want it to run in a programmed mode like old thermostat instead of coming home to cold house. Concerned about battery life.

Been using for 2 years now and enjoy how easy it is to use. Can set heat and cool to keep house at any temperature range you want. Helps with the spring and fall days where it can be hot one day and then cold on the next day. Appreciate being able to adjust through my phone to change from another floor in the house, or adjust when on vacation.

I have been eying a Nest for a year or more so I was very happy to have purchased this unit on sale ($50 off) recently. It was very easy to install and love that it is a smart learning thermostat. I replaced a programmable Honeywell unit that we have had for years. With with kids in the house for the summer it made sense to have a thermostat that knows when someone is home instead of one that is only programmed to our work schedule, which changes weekly. The old unit didn't really work for us anymore.

Super easy to install and super easy to use. Great looking and very modern thermostat that will add some character to your home.

I've had the thermostat installed for a little over three weeks and it's working great. The only issue encountered was that my existing system has a lot more wires than were included in the installation instructions. In order to not damage the unit, I paid $99 for professional installation and couldn't be happier. Also, since my utility company offers $100 rebates, this was a great value!

This one of the best thermostat I have purchased. It was a easy setup and use. It was easier to setup WiFi over the lyric.

My first Nest thermostat couldn’t connect to WiFi after about six months, but I reached out to customer service and provided evidence that it was a faulty thermostat and they replaced the product within 3 business days. No issues with the new thermostat, hasn’t dropped off of WiFi a single time. (Original issue was that it kept attempting to locate WiFi, which in return drained the battery and shut the thermostat off)

Have this installed at my place as well, and good overall quality product, helps save energy. Easy to use.

Products works great, easy to set and learns your preferences very quickly

Does everything it says. Be sure to hook up the common wire when you install it or run a common wire from your furnace if you don't have one already. The Nest powers itself via the Y-R wires to charge it's internal battery. If you don't run your furnace very often, the internal battery will run down, and the furnace won't run until you put a charge in the Nest via microusb. Using the common wire (blue) will provide steady 20v to the unit and thus keep the charge. Other than that, it's a solid thermostat. I like the daily usage summary. It HAS helped to keep costs down. I've probably saved 30% by scheduling and letting Nest learn our routine. Installation is straightforward and well documented. Just be sure to use the blue common wire and run one if you don't have one already.

I actually purchased this for my friend who just recently moved into her new apartment. I have one in mines so I figured I'd get her one as a house warming gift. She absolutely loves it. Being able to control the temperature from anywhere in the world is priceless. Never have to worry about leaving the furnace or central air one if you're not home. In 2020 everyone should have one of these in their home.

Great product. Very easy to set up and install (check your systems compatibility on their website first). Works very well and have not seen any issues. It is a little weird to use the schedule but once you get how to, it is very quick. Love being able to turn to away mode and then to home mode from anywhere using app. We travel about 5-6 times a year and is nice to never come back to a cold or hot home. Would definitely recommend. Using the energy monitor we have already been able to shave off some money each month.

I was first hesitant to buy this. But reading lot of reviews finally bought this on a Black friday. Nest is what our home needed. The electric box plate came in handy, and the included mounting plate looks so nice on our wall, we may not even paint it. The setup was easy, I linked it with our WiFi and then downloaded the app on my phone. After syncing my phone with the thermostat, I can adjust the house temperature from anywhere! The Controls are so simple. I highly recommend buying this.

I have been using this thermostat for about 3 months now and I really love the convenience of this thermostat. It learns your routines within about 2 weeks and auto adjusts itself so my house is cool/warm at the appropriate times, plus being able to control it from my phone or voice command using Alexa makes this device truly user friendly. I would recommend to anyone, but especially people who are tech savvy or enjoy smart home devices.

The nest thermostat is amazing. I bought three of them to replace all three of my existing thermostats. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. They work great with my google home, and they are easy to access from the nest app on my phone. They do a great job learning my preferences, and they actually save me money on a monthly basis. This will be a worthwhile purchase.
