Install was simple and I like that they (4 units) seem to connect and communicate just fine. The litmus test ultimately comes down to how they respond to a fire but overall I am satisfied and would buy again.

Easy to install and set up. The night light is an unexpected bonus!

Replaced our failing smoke alarm, one that was monitored by our alarm company with the Google Nest Smoke and CO detector. While on vacation the Nest smoke alarm went off and sent notifications to my phone saying there was smoke and carbon monoxide detected. Was able to view our Google nest cameras and verify there was a fire. Was able to call the neighbor and emergency services to save our home. Awesome product and would highly recommend purchasing. The voice notification saying if its Smoke or CO is great. If you have multiple units they will all go off.

This is a smoke/carbon monoxide that is easy to install. It can be controlled by your home wifi network. It talks to you and lets you know that it is alright by shining a green light when you turn off the lights.

Easy to set up and install. The night light feature is very cool as well.

I have three of these in use and love them. They are actually less prone to false alarm then regular battery powered smoke detectors. Also love the motion sensor night light, what a great feature. Best buy offered these at a great price which helped because they are not cheap.

Easy to install, work great with nest thermostat. cost could be lower

Bought this for an office that did not have a fire/smoke alarm. We have a combination of wired and battery nest alarms throughout the rest of the house and of course the only room that didn't have one (not code required) was a home office where it happened that a back-up battery shorted out somehow and started smoking in the middle of the night. The other nearest alarm eventually went off in the next room. Since all alarms are linked and the system announces where the fire/smoke was detected I was easily and quickly able to find the backup battery and throw it out the front door to minimize the smoke in the house . . . fortunately no damage aside from electrical smoke for a few hours . . .

Installation was very easy, it does a system check and sends you progress reports twice a month. It has a night light triggered by motion which activates in the dark. A very cool smoke alarm

Seems to be a good smoke detector. However, have not had any "incidents" yet to really be able to tell. Hope not to. Easy to install. It is nice to be able to have alerts sent to your phone. At least that way if no one is home and the smoke alarm goes off, you will know something is going on and you can call fire department and direct them to go to your house.

This is absolutely the best carbon and smoke alarm that has hit the market. I love the features and the self-checkup, along with the glowing ring light. Truly a great item to have in any home; it also has a great look that goes with any decorum.

Nest Protect is a great addition to my other Nest products. It is simple and easy to setup. Once setup is complete, you just let it be. It is a simple way to have an ease of mind when you're not home and the alarm goes off (and obviously when you are home). Highly recommended if you are looking to upgrade/update to a smart home.

I love the nest protect! A friend of mine had these in her house so when I bought mine, they were one of my first purchases! I love the path light feature for night time and that these monitor both smoke and CO2

Easy to set up and install. You can only see on nest app. You won’t be able to add to Google home.

This alarm is sensitive enough to smell a curling iron left on too long 15 feet away. The control from an iPhone is great. One of the best perks is that it has a motion detector that turns a nightlight on briefly when you pass under it. I mainly purchased these because if I must have a smoke alarm in my house, it is going to look nice on my ceiling way out in the open.

So far, I love these. Definitely a premium price, but having them all connected to each other and to my phone is huge, especially when it comes to keeping my family safe. Nice perk, the LED ring lights up your pathway in the dark.
