This smoke/carbon monoxide detector is amazing. I love that it is interconnected with other units and reports info to our phones. It also has a motion activated nightlight for the kids! The voice is pleasant and testing is easy and not obnoxious. We have already purchased more and told our friends and family to get them!

Love nest. Not sure why, but everything just works. Ever since Google took it over though things have been a little flaky and sometimes don't work as desired

We have had the nest thermostats for a few years but were cautious about investing in the protect. We started with 2 recently and love them. Plan to buy another 4 on BF. It's great to have that extra peace of mind when leaving the house and know that they are self testing weekly. Install was easy. Not a single complaint.

If you travel and want 24hr home smoke and carbon monoxide monitoring, then invest in a NEST alarm. Easy to install. I added two NEST to compliment my existing smoke and CO alarms. I placed one upstairs and one downstairs. These truly are next generation smoke and CO detection systems.

Installed one Nest Protect over a year ago and liked it so much, I installed four more last month. Love the App. Batteries last a lot longer than the ones in my old smoke detectors.

I love how easy it is to set these up and the app u/I experience is smooth and easy. The fact that the detectors are interconnected so if one goes off they’ll all go off but not only that it will tell me which one first detected the danger is great. Best on the market as far as I can tell

This is one smart home device you will hopefully not be using much for obvious reasons but it is there when you need it most. Very easy to setup, excellent app and a great product all around. Had it not been for the relatively high price would have replaced all the smoke detectors at home with these.

I wanted Smoke Detectors that I could see on my phone and interact with the Nest Thermostat. I purchased 3 total and they ALL connect to each other. Its pretty cool that they also light up as I get close and walk under each one so light my way. I would recommend these to anyone.

I already had several of these through out the house. Bought two more to add to areas we were concerned with, next to the furnace and in the garage. I love how if one (usually the kitchen) goes off, all the others chime in to report where.

We have multiple of these installed and they are amazing. Have had no issues with these at all. Easy to install and manage via the app. Smart voice integration too is nice and makes finding where the smoke is coming from easy. Highly recommend!

Once I determined where to put them the rest was just a matter of following the steps to connect them to the Nest app. Since the dog his home alone when we go out it is a really nice feeling to know we can be alerted in case something were to go wrong.

Love knowing this is watching over our house. Nice voice for when you have your cooking mishaps to let you know the alarm is going to go off. Tells you when smoke is cooling down. Has a nice light that turns on when walking near it

We have already been able to replace 15+ year old smoke alarms with the Nest smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. The path light is an added bonus as well as the ease of set up and use. If you wait for the price to drop to $99 then very much worthwhile.

I have a total of eight of these Nest Protect 2nd Generation Smart Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm detectors. Easy to set-up and operate. Next smart phone app allows you to control and view the status of each device. A great investment for every home!

These are great and good looking. Love the night light feature...wouldn't put it inside the bedroom though, unless you somehow turn off the motion sensor. It's great to be able to have a fire alarm in the kitchen without having to worry about setting it off over toast or sautéed mushrooms.

Really easy install and setup. The unit was up and ready within minutes after removing it from the box. I like the ability to silence the alarm from my phone if the detector senses smoke coming from something cooking in the kitchen. Also provides a little nightlight if movement is detected in the night.

These two Protects are to replace another pair that reached their end of life date. I really like the simplicity and design of the Google Nest Protect and replacement was even easier since I had already had this equipment previously.
