So easy to install, works right out of the box, sends alerts straight away, smoke from cooking gave it a trial!! so happy with it, and all our other Nest products

this thing makes these old alarms cool again. It looks stylish and it actually works as you would expect, amazing. no need to go crazy just because the alarm goes off when you cook, just press a button and the alarm is off.

great unit just a little exspensive. Really like the fact that multiple devices communicate data to each other incase of emergency. Had to buy 9 of these.

The Nest smoke and CO alarms I bought were so easy to install and work with our Nest thermostat. I now feel I am honed in on my house by just opening the Nest app. I would/and have recommend Nest to anyone.

Well worth it to be able to silence the alarm through your phone; the auto-night light feature is unexpectedly one of the best features.

Purchased multiple units and installed at the same time. Install was simple and it is comforting to know they perform self checks and interconnect. Well worth it to eliminate the midnight chirps from old units.

I have dogs at home, so I really wanted some thing that would alert me if there were any issues. So far so good have not had to use it at all. I didn’t think I was gonna like that light that comes on at night, but it’s not very bright, but it illuminates the hallway when you walk by, which is nice. It is only on for several seconds until you pass by.

I purchased the Nest Protect for one important safety feature - if carbon monoxide is detected, my Nest Thermostat will shut down the furnace. Easy installation and setup in the Nest app.

Connected easily with my phone. Getting a notification if the alarm goes off when I'm not home is the main reason we purchased this. We have a nest thermostat too and are very pleased with both so far.

I went thru battery smoke detectors like cheap socks before I bit the bullet and plunked down $99 bucks for the Nest Protect. Cheap, big box smoke detectors have greatly harmed the smoke/CO2 market by assuming people want inexpensive products in lieu of performance. Nest Protect completely changes this narrative by offering a much needed and trustworthy device that protects your family with the most sophisticated technology available. The unit looks terrific but you already expect that from Nest...the real feature is an affordable life insurance policy that will pay dividends for years to come. I'm fully satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend same to anyone who's serious about detectors in your home.

Super easy to install and use. Great for monitoring our condo remotely when we are not there which gives us comfort. Love the thoughtful use of the motion sensor and central light as a nightlight.

Easy to setup and connect with multiple Protect devices. Haven’t had any issues with these. Detects smoke very well. Nice to have a option to silence alarm if it is a false alarm.

Is an amazing replacement for your old school smoke detector. Automatically does tests and keeps track of batteries and can tie into your nest eco-system.
