This is my second of these units. The fist one comes in handy in the kitchen because you can silence it while cooking easily. We have a tablet near by so you silence it and don't have it going off from cooking. I got second one for bedroom so if you get woken up in middle of knight you know exactly the location of the problem because they talk to each other and let you know the location and problem like a test.

Love it. Got the battery powered one since our home was not prewired. Easy install and integration with nest thermo which will shut off furnace b if CO is detected...talk about smart to keep family safe.

This is great! But don’t burn anything cooking it will go off! We like the night light sensor when it’s completely dark! We have two! Phone app works great!

Love the connectivity on this device. My bathroom is near the top of the stairs where this is located and this was the only one that would not trigger false alarms from the steam.

I bought a bunch of these for my house and am very pleased. I love that all devices speak to each other. Easy to control from your phone.

The nest smoke alarm is able to tell you in person if the battery is low,if there is any smoke and carbon monoxide in the room. The app will aslo send you the same notiafations when you are not in the house.

Very easy setup and install. Works great! Recomended

The best protect is an awesome product and easy to use and set up. Just push the button and go. And the alerts that are sent to your phone could come in handy if you were not at home during an alarm.

Integrates into the Nest/Google ecosystem perfectly. Setup took 5 minutes, same as other Nest products. Lasts for 10 years as well, longer than standard detectors.

It is smaller than it looks in pictures--much closer to a standard fire alarm size. Set up was so easy and I love the device.

I already have a NEST Thermostat in my home and LOVE it. I'm slowly turning my home into a "Smart" hub - this was a no brainer to replace the old, annoying SMOKE-ONLY detectors in the home. Set-up was easy, took five minutes each. My wife loves that the ring lights up a soft white at night to use as a nightlight. Would highly recommend. Pricey but they're worth it.

My wife initially questioned by spending a premium on a smoke detector. Between the easy set up, the ability to monitor with an app and the motion sensitive night light she even agrees it is awesome.

I have replaced all my smoke detector at home with the Nest Protect. The ease of use of this product is amazing. I am a Nest supporter, to have all devices on one account is perfect.

Aside from the regular smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, the Nest Protect announces the alerts clearly making it easy to understand. It also features a motion sensing night light that is great!

Works well. Added this to a few I already have installed. Only complaint - there are no drywall anchors with the product.

I really like this smoke/CO alarm. It makes me feel better knowing I can get an alert on my phone when I'm not home in case there is an issue. I like that it has a pre-alarm alert sent to my phone; instead of immediately going off when I accidently burn dinner. It was pretty easy to set up too!

Very happy, easily connected to the Nest app, another level of safety! Really like the night light feature.

I have the nest thermostat and nest cameras, and it's cool how they all work together. If gas is sensed, it'll turn off my furnace. I like the built-in night light for the hallway detector. Works well.
