Expensive, easy setup/install and overall works well

In love with ours! Anytime it alerts me I am able to control it with the app on my phone and I don’t know! I’m able to shut it off or alert someone that is home when I am not there

These are great and good looking. Love the night light feature...wouldn't put it inside the bedroom though, unless you somehow turn off the motion sensor. It's great to be able to have a fire alarm in the kitchen without having to worry about setting it off over toast or sautéed mushrooms.

This is the second one we bought, I know it’s a little pricey, however how much is your family safety worth. That’s why I buy one at a time. I got the one with the carbon monoxide/smoke detector. In January I will buy the third one

This is a similar review to the hardwired version of this item. It works in tandem with all the others (my kitchen was the only room that didn't have hardwire for some reason). It was easy to install.

I love this Smart Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm as the app lets me know what's going on whether or not I am home. Testing is done once a month but you can turn that off at any time. It's easy to install too.

Really easy install and setup. The unit was up and ready within minutes after removing it from the box. I like the ability to silence the alarm from my phone if the detector senses smoke coming from something cooking in the kitchen. Also provides a little nightlight if movement is detected in the night.

I have these in my house and love them. They alert you for just a scent of smoke and when they are testing and it connects to everything in my house, my lights, my sprinkler system and it helps to make our home feel safe. My son's new home will now have the same capabilities.

This fire alarm/carbon monoxide detector is great. It syncs to you phone so you know if there is an emergency at your house and you aren't home the nest app will let you know. It test it's self randomly with just a little beep. This way you know it's always working.

This is the best smoke detector on the market. It looks great, and is so easy to install and set up. It quickly syncs to other Nest smoke detectors so both alarm if one detects smoke or CO. It alerts you before it is about to alarm so that you have time to silence the alarm.

Ability to quickly silence is great! Notifications on mobile device, provide a sense of security.

Needed to replace my standard smoke and Carbon monoxide detectors. Was recommended to get the Nest Protect. I like how simple it was to install this. From short video clips to providing all the fasteners required with brackets.

So far so good, easy to install, looks great and does what it's supposed to do. The motion light was a life saver when our power went out during Irma and we had to sleep in our hallway. The light coming on was the only thing to clam our 5 year old down. We will be adding a few more of these.

I have a bunch of nests in service, ~50, at multiple rental properties. Overall they are great. I can see if a tenant takes them down, alerts if it alarms, etc. I would give it 5-stars, except for my recent customer service experience...And at this point I'm so deep into the Nest brand, I cannot change. Maybe in 10 years I'll go a different way... I have had two give me problems, and the hoops and delayed customer service by Nest is unbelievable. Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. It took 6 weeks to get approval for a new unit, all the while asking me to so the same diagnostics multiple times. Luckily the unit was in a room with 2 and not "essential", but in any other scenario, I would have ahd to replace it on my own dime because it is an ESSENTIAL LIFE SAFETY DEVICE and I do not think Nest [Google] has realized this. They can view the account and see the "sensors not working" alert. At that point, they should replace it within 24 hours and do any tests they want when they get the unit back.

I love the fact that when it goes off, I can silence it on my phone and/or just press the main button on the smoke detector. It also is aesthetically pleasing and was a super easy install. The app's interface is great, just like all Nest products. I recommend getting as many Nest products as possible.

Having 2 of these nest smoke/carbon monoxide detectors is fantastic for us. Knowing if smoke is detected we will be notified when were not at home is comforting. Also the carbon monoxide detector is great since we live in a condominium and you never know what you neighbors are up to.

Just installed this and was easy to set up and connect to the home network. I already have multiple Nest/Google products in the home so was able to connect this seamlessly through the apps.

Just replaced an old "dumb" smoke detector with the Nest and I am very pleased with the new product. Setup was a breeze and the feedback it gives make me confident my family is protected in case of an emergency. Going to buy a couple more to have around the house in various locations.

The warning siren is very loud. Don’t see sleeping through that. It also lights up my hall way when I walk past it at night. A nice feature. I like having a Fire/Co2 detector in one.

We really love this smoke detector. Being able to have it sync with our Nest thermostat is great. It's very sensitive, it even picks up on my wife's vaping and gives us a warning sometimes. I love the night light feature, it gives just enough light at night to not kill yourself going up or down the stairs!
