Very good programmable thermostat. I can change from heat to cool in one setting or select them separately. I can change everything on my phone when I am away. To change on the thermostat you just swipe your finger down the side and select the setting you need. Tap the side and you go into the menu. I give this 5 out of five stars.

I have a plain vanilla Honeywell thermostat and got E260 error upon first installation try. My mistake was to connect RC wire to C at Nest base plate. RC wire from Honeywell thermostat should be connected to R at Nest. Nest installation went well after the correction and luckily no fuse is blown at the furnace.

I'm switching from another brand of Wi-Fi enabled thermostat. I installed one previously in another home and like the Google environment better than the Honeywell app.

This thermostat lets me control my usage with manual, scheduled or even adaptive temperature control. It's really useful when you want to limit usage at certain times if day to help save at peak times. I like that I can check up on it from anywhere to go it from my phone! I have been a nest user since 2017 and there really isn't any other way I would choose to monitor my usage. It also can.be voice commanded via Google which is a huge plus.

I have never had a smart thermostat, and for the money this has been one of the best smart home purchases I ever made. Being able to set routines and change the temperature of my HVAC without having to get out of bed on a cold morning has been game changing. The learning thermostat might be better, but I’d recommend this one to anyone wanting to try out a smart thermostat. The only thing I’d add is make sure you research the wiring for your HVAC unit. Google makes it pretty easy to set up, but they also make it pretty easy to mess up if you don’t know what you’re looking at.

Cost is very reasonable and design is good looking. Easy to control with my iPhone. Very good to have energy saving features. I don't like 2-thing is no touch screen feature and take quite long to figure out how to connect to Wifi connection.

Updated by home's old thermostat and enjoy being able to update the temp via the app. The set-up was simple with the help of the youtube vid. Be sure to take a picture of the original wiring set up to help with the install. I like that you can select AC, Heat or both. We are using the mixed A/C and Heat setting in Spring (and will in the Fall) for the cold mornings and warm afternoons.

Installing was easy took about 10 mins, the app is user friendly & the camera has good quality. Would recommend buying the doorbell if you have a second floor.

Easy to install, just follow the instructions on the Google Home app. The design is great and much better looking that others I reviewed before purchasing. Programming was easy, but wish there was a way to set the schedule for weekdays and weekends. You have to set the schedule for each day. It's a minor hassle, not worth dropping a star for.

I bought this Nest thermostat to replace an old, analog thermostat. The installation was simple without any assistance.

I was worried about this product, as I'm not very tech savy, but I absolutely love this thermostat! So easy to use and I love that i can change the temp even when I'm away from home.

It works great and is it so convenient to be able to control the temporary with my phone. I love the color and blends in perfectly with my walls.

Easy to install. Saving on utilities bills. Also easy to hook up to Wi-Fi and Google Home.

 My family used to set the temperature and never lower it. This will by default correct to a more appropriate level. I like the fact also that if I’m away from home that I can change it on my cell phone. I need to get more things that can be associate or connected with this like the front door, TV volumes, and other things like that

Works great...love having the app on my phone to turn it up and down

It took some time to get it set up and synced, but works great once it's done.

I cant imagine why I didnt have a google nest thermostat to go along with my other home nest items sooner. This app is extremely easy to use and set up for hot or cold situations and also helps monitor energy usage.
