is pretty good I can use with the home app and I can use with Alexa and the installation is pretty easy

It works well, is good-looking, and sets up automatic schedules. Please note, it's not a touch screen, but it can adjust the temperature on the side

Very easy to install. Convenient. Wish it had a touch sensor as well. Nonetheless very easy to install if using the Google home app. Can be challenging to use manually without the smartphone

I purchased this second Nest for my elderly father's residence to control the temperature anywhere I am in the world. Those of you who help to keep a watchful eye on your parents know that sometimes even the most manageable devices to run in a home are difficult for them.

Very satisfied with the Google Nest thermostat. Makes it easy to set and track living area usage for efficiency.

I was glad that I hired an electrician to install this as an additional power adapter was necessary, but now that it is in, I find it far superior to our previous thermostat in ease of use, and therefore will likely save us money and keep us warm when we need it.

If you spend another $100, you can get a learning thermostat if that is what you need. That device comes with a scroll wheel and a metal body. That device also supports extra sensors for separate rooms, if you have a big house. However, I have an old and small house. So this thermostat works for me. I have been thinking to get a smart thermostat for years now, but also didn't want to spend too much. This device works for me.

This is my second time buying this product and couldn’t be happier. I left the first one at my previous residence and could not wait to purchase for my new one. Definitely recommend!

We bit the bullet and got programmable thermostats. While they work pretty well, their performance is inconsistent when it comes to "pre-warming", in other words, raising the temperature in the main living area to a certain temp BY a certain time or starting to raise it to that temp AT a certain time. In other words, sometimes it will start pre-warming before our appointed 5:45 am time so that it is at the prescribed temp when 5:45 rolls around, and sometimes it starts the warmup AT 5:45, so that it is not up to temp til 6:00 or a bit later. Sort of annoying, and Google sent out replacements that did the same thing.

Love the nest. Was easy to set up and works great! Gives me a piece of mind that when I not at our lake home the temp is holding strong. Also nice to be able to turn the heat up on our way to the lake. I have had zero issues with this unit

Good thermostat. Works differently than the original one that had the outer ring that turned to adjust the temp. This one has touch sensitive controls on the right side. Honestly, not a big deal. If you don't know what W1, or C wire, or any of that mean, get a pro to install it. Also, be careful when mounting. The base has screws on the top and bottom, which is very likely where your wires are running (most likely down, where the bottom screw would go). Don't screw into your wiring!

Works great, although took some time to set up with the app. We like the schedule feature and the ability to change the settings remotely.

Spoke to nest before I bought and they said it would work with my system. It works but on battery only. C wire issue they said wouldn’t be. I should’ve been smarter. Good quality though, touch dial works well, looks great and it’s slim.

This was the first smart thermostat that I purchased. It has all the features of the nest learning thermostat except for schedule learning and a rechargeable battery. I returned this unit to get a nest learning thermostat, due to preference. If you don’t care about schedule learning, this smart thermostat will work for you.

Good for people with google devices that dont want to spend a lot of money. Good feature letting you control it from your phone while being away. Only con i could see is whether or not it continues to work if there is a disruption in your internet service

Pros: Simple and modern design that blends in with the wall and decor. The features are slimmed down from the Nest Learning Thermostat but I like the new temperature profiles of "Comfort" "Sleep" and "Eco". The device was also practically free after PSEG and NationalGrid rebates. Cons: I needed to run a C-wire since the thermostats only control heat in the selected rooms. Other: Not as premium as the Nest Learning Thermostat, but I still appreciate the design and display, especially considering the price.

I’ve previously owned the Nest Thermostat E. Unlike the E, this thermostat is managed entirely within the Google Home app, not the Nest app. I liked the Nest app (and it offered additional integration with our electric provider), but I understand the reason for the change. This thermostat looks great and has many nice features (such as showing the weather, temperature presets for easy scheduling, etc) that the E did not have.

I had a 1st gen Nest Learning thermostat for a long time, and started to second guess if the temperature was still regulating correctly. Decided not to go with another learning thermostat and went with this one. I am SO happy with this new thermostat! It is a night an day difference when regulating the temperature, and I’m very happy with this purchase.

This might be the best upgrade in my house so convenient it’s unbelievable

Easy to install and easy to use. It works. I can set the temp from anywhere and have the house ready when I get home.
