We bought this product because we had a bonus room over the garage that wasn’t getting heated due to the thermostat being on the other side of the house. With nest thermostat and these remotes we are able to heat the bonus room to a desired temp. I love the ability to put them on a schedule too. Great addition to the nest system.

I have been using this temperature sensor for about 6 months and use it everyday. It was super easy to setup and pair with my nest. So far the battery life seems great and the temperature reading is accurate. Would recommend this product if wanting to monitor and control temperature around a home.

Although the Nest app on iOS is currently having some issues, the temp sensor itself is already paying off. The upstairs where I have it is normally 5 degrees warmer than downstairs so this little gem is keeping the heater from working too hard at night when I’m upstairs since the thermostat is regulated by it at night based on temp upstairs and not the cold below. Definitely think it will save me money in heating costs in the long run.

Works like a charm and easy to set up. This is a must have if you are going to purchase or already have a nest thermostat. I don't know if more is needed (one in different rooms). I think the item will pay for itself in the long run. Also, this is the cheapest google item on the market.

This works great. Put it in the bedroom so you are not too hot or cold at night. I wish I could set the time as you are stuck with their intervals (4 to choose from). I also wish google had never bough nest. I hate their spying.

Works great and easy to setup, and small enough to hide

Bought this so my Nest would keep my bedroom warm at night. It does a great job, but the only downfall is not being able to control specific times. Now that Google took over Nest maybe they will update this feature and allow for more granular control over what times this device will take priority.

These temperature sensors really great. I was not happy with the location of my thermostat (a room that we rarely use). I was considering moving the thermostat but now I do not have to. I can place the sensors in the rooms we use most often and select the room I am in to control the heat/AC. What a great idea.

The Nest Temperature Sensor is a life saver for us. Our Kids room was extremely cold and hot in winters and summers respectively and the Nest Thermostat couldn't regulate the temperature in that room because it is located in a different place. Now with this device we can regulate the temperature in this room and also for a specified time.

Perfect add on to the Nest thermostat. Allows you to monitor other rooms in house and make adjustments on a per room target.

This is a pretty good extra sensor to have in our house. We keep it upstairs on the bookshelf, because the reach of the sensor to the original Nest thermostat is a tad bit limiting in placement. But it accurately tells us the temperature of the other room, and lets us adjust our temp accordingly at night time.

It's probably not something most people need, but it's definitely handy if the Nest thermostat needs to operate based on the temperature of some other location in the house. The one big limiting factor is that it has to be within 50 feet of the thermostat, possibly less if there are walls.

CONS: None. Maybe a better suggestion as to where to place in the household? PROS: Goes perfectly with Nest Thermostat. Helps keep the specific areas in the home at your preferred temperature.

We have one of these in our office and master bedroom. I like having a custom temperature for one room at night. We can sleep with the door closed knowing only the bedroom is being used to gauge the temp. No more hot or cold nights.

I needed something as current thermostat was located in one room and where a bedroom was more cool than that room. Easy to set up and link to the nest thermostat and did the job well. Only critique is for Nest to allow for more time choices on when this unit is used as the sensor. Currently on 4 time slots , each 6 hours

Our master bedroom has a wall of glass so in the summer the room is several degrees warmer than the location of our Nest thermostat. By adding the remote sensor, we've been able to keep our room much cooler during the times of the day when we are in there. I highly recommend the Nest remote sensor if you have a situation like ours.

This sensor is great for ensuring certain rooms in the house are up to temp. This has always been an issue for people in multi room homes because the thermostat only reads the current temperature of where it is physically located. With the Nest Sensor you are able to fine tune the temperature in any room.

Put this temp sensor upstairs and it make it easy to keep track of temperature up there since it is usually a bit warmer up there. I can monitor it with the app and make adjustments as needed. Hardly ever need to once it learns the patterns. I plan on buying a few more for other rooms in the house.

These temperature sensors are a huge help as our house is an older home and the temperature in each room typically fluctuates depending on the season, direct sunlight, etc. These sensors make it easy to set the desired temperature in a specific room and the thermostat takes care of the rest. A must-have for any Nest thermostat owner.
