I have two-story townhouse with two Nest thermostats. Placed on sensor in downstairs master bedroom & one sensor in one upstairs bedroom (both rooms seem to be warmer at night during summer away from Nest thermostat). They were very easy to pair & setup. They work perfectly to maintain cooler temps. They made me love my Nest even more.

Easy to setup and install. We have a floor plan that makes the thermostat not the best indicator of temp for the zone its in, so the sensors help a lot. You can easily add them to your setup and configure the thermostat to action off any individual node. If you like the Nest ecosystem, it is worth considering.

A must have if you have a newborn and are looking to regulate the temperature of the room where the thermostat is not located (at night specifically for us). This has been a game changer for the comfort of our baby. She sleeps easier. Also, the device is VERY easy to setup.

Insanely easy to set up, incredible little device. Definitely a very useful addition to our google-nest setup. Just open box, pull battery tab, then just a few quick setup instructions on the Nest app, and it works like a charm. Highly recommend as add-on for Google Nest thermostat set!

Overall I'm satisfied with the sensors overall performance. I located one sensor about 20 ft. from my nest thermostat. The other sensor is about 40 ft. in my master bedroom which is the coolest area of my home. Once you get used of the app and learn where to locate your sensors, you can zero in on setting your temperatures. They initially connect fairly easy to your Google nest thermometer. But maintaining a connection can be a bit challenge. Occasionally I have to refresh the connection using the app. I still would recommend purchasing these sensors if you have issues with rooms being cooler or warmer away from your thermostat. For the short time I've had these sensors, I can see where they can save you money on your heating bill.

This is an excellent addition to the Nest. It can keep you comfortable in any room of the house. You can program the Nest to automatically switch to it morning, afternoon and evening. My only complaint is that you can not specify the exact time to make the switch.

We put one in our master bedroom. Super easy to link up. Very accurate. Will probably get a couple more for other rooms.

The nest temperature sensor is a great addition to your Thermostat-E or Learning Thermostat (it does not work with the new Nest Thermostat) My thermostat was poorly located by the plumber who installed it. This device allows you to record the temperature from any location you like, within reasonable range of the thermostat. Since I have radiant floor heat, I placed my thermostat closer to the floor. I also placed it around the corner from a small hallway where the Thermostat was--that hallway was trapping a lot of heat, so the rest of the house was usually cold. My heat is much more even now. I tried several spots with the sensor before finding the perfect one. Mount it on a wall, put it on a table, or close to the floor for consistent radiant floor heat!

Love how easy it is to use. I believe that as a result my bill has decreased. I'm also finally able to control the temperature in my master bedroom and main room. My master bedroom was always hotter than the main family room. Now I can see and set the temperature in each area.

Old house = varing temperature on each floor. Now i can comfortably swap between my basement, living room, and bedroom eg: i work in my basement for the 9-5 tends to be target ad the basement, then 5-8 my living room and 8- morning bedroom. Its nice to have the place im going to be the majority of the time my preferred 64 degrees, and not freeze while im working downstairs while i boil at night in my bedroom because the nest is in the living room

They work as advertised! I needed this to control the air temps in a guest bedroom, that were ALWAYS fluctuating because the actual thermostat was in an entirely different room. This allowed me to tell google nest 'focus on guest bedroom, keep its temp consistent' It also allows you to monitor other rooms (with multiple sensors), to keep informed on various areas of your house. Wish it had a PoE (Power over ethernet) option or some other way to power it besides replaceable batteries every few years (I'm a set it and forget it kinda guy). Would be cool if it also had digital display to show what actual current temp it was sensing or if it intself was a display/control for the remote nest thermostat it is connected to, all features I hope to see in later versions.

If you've got a multi level home with a single AC system especially with a wide open stairway you've encountered the hot upstairs and cool downstairs effect. If you spend most of your time downstairs and the AC thermostat is upstairs this little guy can help keep temperatures right where you want them where you spend the most time and help save some energy costs!

This sensor is very easy to add to the main Nest system. It is small and I set it on my master bedroom dresser. It is small so not noticeable. I have my nest use this sensor overnight and not the Nest downstairs. This way the upstairs master bedroom is the temp I want it.

Great little device for achieving temperature according to where you place it. Be careful on placement as this will be the temperature gauge for the entire house. Set up is relatively easy and you can choose between any sensor or back to your nest as the main thermostat via the Nest app or the Nest thermostat itself.

I love the thermometer / thermostat that Google provides when you purchase a smart home thermostat. I love that you can add temperature sensors on different floor so you can get a more accurate representation of what the temperature is around your house and how your HVAC system should operate knowing all these temperatures and the information from the temperature gauge gadget and how it works with Google.

Purchased this product because our bedroom was always significantly warmer int the summer than the rest of the house. Set up with our existing Nest thermostat was simple and programming to read the sensor at night has made a huge difference in our comfort level while sleeping.

I recently purchased the Google Nest Temperature Sensor in white and have been extremely impressed with its functionality. The sensor allows me to set a specific temperature for certain rooms in my home and the Nest thermostat automatically adjusts to maintain that temperature. It's so convenient to be able to control the temperature in each room without having to constantly adjust the thermostat manually. The white color blends seamlessly with my home decor and the installation process was quick and easy. Overall, I highly recommend the Google Nest Temperature Sensor for anyone looking to simplify their temperature control.

We purchased these mainly for our newborn baby’s room as it tends to be warmer in the summer months and cooler in winter than other rooms. The sensor has been doing a great job of keeping her room temperature comfortable as it reads the real time temperature from whichever room it is set in and cools/heats based on that room. Otherwise without the sensor it will just reesd the temperature at the actual thermostat. You van set which room you prefer for it to read at in the Nest app.

I bought the sensor for my Nest Smart thermostat. I wanted it for another room. It works really well. The hallway my thermostat is in is usually a bit warmer so I wanted the sensor in our living room. I’m able to not run the AC as much with the sensor in the main room. Easy to set up.
