Good sensors
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, even better if you have multiple forced air zones. They could be a little cheaper since the thermostat is already very expensive.

Perfect paired with nest!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased our new home in June of this year. We struggled with our bedroom always being either too cold or too hot with our normal non smart thermostat. Finally I had enough and bought the nest thermostat paired with this additional thermostat sensor. Now I have my home heating and cooling based directly off what the bedroom thermostat says the temp is. Paired with the nest app and a schedule; we finally have a perfect nights sleep! Highly recommend this device to pair with your nest; especially if you struggle with a particular room(s)!

Awesome add on!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great! I have one in my attic, garage, Main living area, and bedroom. With my phone app I know exactly the temperature of those areas. At night time I set the thermostat to run from my bedroom sensor. Setting it to the best temperature for a good nights sleep. These are also perfect for a two story house, with the bedrooms upstairs. Heat rises... so at night it is almost impossible to guess proper settings from the thermostat on the lower floor! This is the cure!!

Cheap and efficient
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item works exactly how i figured it would. i bought it on a whim with out research. I took it home and knew where i wanted to put it because the back of my house is where it seems to register the temp but it gets no sun back there so its always cold. But the front of my house is in the sun all day and gets super hot. so put the sensor in the front of the room and now the front of my house where the family spends most of the time is perfect.

Work Just as Intended
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that these are small and discrete. They work just as intended and I can definitely tell a difference using them with the Nest thermostat.

Great sensor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using this sensor in my basement, gives me the knowledge of what my overall house temp is, far better than just one sensor in entryway.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Works well as I set this up in my office which is away from the main thermostat. Since I spend most of the day in my office I have the thermostat set to read the temp. sensor in the office during the day so I don't freeze.

Perfect for cold/hot zones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product to use if you have hot/cold areas in your house during certain times of the day. In my home, my office get's chilly in the afternoon but the rest of the house (and where the main temperature sensor is) stays warmer. Therefore, I freeze while Nest says the house is warm. After purchasing this sensor and placing it in my office, I'm no longer becoming an ice cube. This isn't a necessity, but I'm sure glad I have it!

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the nest sensors, I can easily tell if there's a room in our house that's insanely hot. Most importantly the room that the chinchilla is in. Within the nest app, I can easily switch the system over to trying to cool that one room without wondering how bad its getting. I already know! Don't lose your QC code. You can still get the sensor onto your account, but it's a lot easier to have the QC code from the pull tab.

Just what I needed.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does take some time for the thermostast to adjust to them. With patience and time it will create a pattern and then you'll be al set. They are very easy to pair with the nest app and also very easy to choose the location in the house that you want a specific temperature.

Great addition if needed, but price seems high
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally got 2 nest thermostats, and they work well. Due to my house layout, the upstairs thermostat location always reads higher than the rooms. It’s located on a breeze way that’s open to the living room below and the upstairs bedroom temperatures were always a different reading than the thermostat. This sensor allowed the thermostat to operate based on the temperature in the room instead, making it much more comfortable. It would have been five stars except for the price. I feel this could be done more cost effectively but as far I know only nest sensors work on it. Building a smart home is easier than before but don't expect every brand to follow the standards, it may have its own proprietary system.

Easy to set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is easy to set up. It is too soon to know if using the remote sensors will save me any money, but I suspect it will. Prior to installing these sensors, I would set the thermostat to 68 degrees F at night in the summer to insure that my bedroom was comfortable. Now I set the sensor to 72 degrees F at night and the bedroom is comfortable. I have not yet receive an electric bill since the installation, so I cannot definitively say that I have saved or how much.

The frosting for a Nest Cake
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our upstairs & downstairs each have separate HVAC systems. Being empty-nesters, our upstairs is seldom used. When it is, I’m too conservative to run the HVAC to heat or cool the entire upstairs at such times when only 1 of the rooms is in use. I had previous experience with an older Hunter thermostat which used portable sensors which could be used to determine which room would determine the thermostat’s temperature setting...like having separate thermostats in each room. The sensors could be used individually or combined to determine an average. I loved how useful & economical the sensor system was. The Hunter thermo eventually failed altogether. 6 mos. Ago, I replaced it with a Nest 3rd Gen Smart Thermostat along with a set of sensors which can be used to determine which of the rooms would determine the thermostat setting which when away from home can be adjusted remotely online. The room over the garage is the most difficult to keep temps adjusted and the room in the northwest upstairs corner is 2nds most difficult to keep adjusted. The thermostat is located in a room which has other rooms on each side of it insulating it from such problems. With these sensors, those rooms are now completely adjustable. I love being able to customize each room to accommodate usage by simply using or moving a sensor. I also love the economic advantages. Although the downstairs programmable digital thermostat works great, when we are away from home during extreme weather, I had to place a large visible thermometer in sight of a security camera so I could monitor the temp; however there was nothing I could do to make remote adjustments. Recently I decided to also replace our downstairs Honeywell thermostat with a 3rd Gen Nest Smart Thermostat with sensors. I plan on using the sensors to keep the temperature in certain more difficult to regulate rooms comfortable despite extenuating circumstances, i.e. north-west facing living room with 2 story cathedral ceilings and large north & west facing windows, i.e. a very hot kitchen with a hot-natured wife cooking & baking…all the time. The sensors, in combo with the Nest Smart Thermostat, are akin to the frosting on a cake. Using the Nest App I can monitor and make any adjustments online wherever we are!

Must have for a two story home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially having the issue where the upstairs would be much warmer than downstairs. After installing the nest thermostat, we decided to purchase the Nest Temperature sensor and placed it in the warmest room in our home. Having this sensor has allowed the nest to better regulate the temperature of both floors. We have had both the Nest and the Nest Temperature sensor for about 2 months and we cannot be happier with the outcome of having these two items. Oh, and it has help decrease our electricity bill in this time frame.

Thank goodness for this!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a very picky sleeper. I've gotten used to tech too much, but I love when it works for me. I had a nest in my living room but bed room is closer to the window (which is exposed to outside world) so the temp I set in the thermostat doesn't always give me the desired sleeping temperatures. But these temperature sensors work like charm in such cases. You can even set a schedule in the nest app, to switch to different sensors at different times of day! I love it!
