This camera works like a charm! I’ve had it for around a year now and it still works like it’s brand new out the box! Subscription is cheap and everything that’s included with it is totally worth it!

Google Nest doorbell has a wide clear view and is easy to use. No delay from action that turned on the camera to real time movement. Gives safety and security knowing who is at your front door.

The good: - nice hardware (a bit chunky tho) - free subscription gives you 300 hours of video - good video quality - Google home app - option to hardwire Most of the bad reviews are from people trying to connect this to their legacy Nest system and app. One day the Nest app will be marked as deprecated and support will stop. Maybe read the box before buying?

Battery lasts over 2 weeks with daily traffic of taking kids to school and deliveries. Quality is nice and field of view definitely wraps around all of my entry. Very wide. Everyone loves the special holiday ringtones and my google home devices at home respond quickly with the doorbell.

I'm a Google fan. Is this Nest doorbell perfect? Probably not but no glaring flaws. At least not for me. I hard wired it which was extremely easy. Love the integration with my Google home app and products. Also it looks great!

i switched from ring because i prefer google nest over alexa and I love the familiar face feature because my nest can annouce whos at the door. The battery lasts long enough for me to charge it every 4 weeks. Great for apartments, you can buy a screw free mount anywhere.

This is the second one I've purchased. I have one for my house, and when a friend needed one, I picked up one and installed it for her. Installation can be challenging depending depending on the location you need it. For me, there was no existing doorbell, so I also purchased the solar charger for it. For my friend, it replaced her existing door bell and was able to hardwire. It also works great with her existing chime. Very happy with the product and would recommend.

Works great! Really gave me some peace of mind. It has good night vision and I like the fact I can pick zones for it to notify me or not.

Installation was a bit tricky given the completr lack of any written instructions. They do provide a qr code which takes you to a youtube video, butnit still left a few issues unaddressed such as how best to incorporate the house wiring as an option. Also there was no provision of sny operating instructions leaving one to learn as you go.

This google nest doorbell is fantastic. If there is movement in front of door, it gives me message through my phone.

Handles all weather. Clear image displayed and no delay. The app is a lil slow to load, however.

Lasting battery life and good quality. Great to speak with the FedEx or UPS guy when no one is home .

I purchased Nest battery operated Doorbell. First issue: battery life is very short. Device has to be taken down at least once a week to be charged. This leads to second issue. Mounting is not very secure and doobell pops up easily. This brings up the main issue: doorbell fell because of proxemity to the door and lens cracked. It is not repearable and Google would not replace the device. Online search shows that this is a very common issue and Google needs to rethink their battery life and mounting device.

Works great and easy to set up and install yourself. Your Grandma can to do. Recharge is easy with wireless device.
