I love my Google nest!!! Makes me feel safe and secure. It works super well and upholds the weather extremes from Texas heat to Colorado cold. Would buy again and recommend!!

Not bad works nicely with google home app, and google display,clear wide view, quick notifications when motion or door bell is triggered, Battery last about 2 weeks when sei, to default settings, view history is available without paying for monthly subscription does not set up with google nest, no big deal , The wired version does. a 24v power supply can be wired if desired, have not done that yet .easy set up , with out having to hire someone to install .So far I like it

I got this camera as part of my google mesh network and works perfectly well in combination with my other google products. I use this one mainly for apartments which allows easy access to see and speak to guests through front door even when international. Has face recognition with names, zone setups for alerts and an additional part to mount with an angle to get those hard to view spots in camera view. Also super easy to setup he google home app and get it to setup with minis, outdoor camera, etc. Just remember to charge the battery since it is not wired.

Excellent pictures, works when power is out, but everynow and then it goes off for no reason. My first one stopped working completely so i bought another. If this stops working like the last one, I'm done with nest.

Great alternative to the Ring doorbell, if you've already bought into the Google ecosystem. Video quality is great, its easy to install and setup. My only real complaint is, it runs off of 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. So if your setup runs both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands, make sure the bands are split, and this is connected to the 2.4, or it will randomly disconnect throughout the day.

I decided to go with the Google Nest Doorbell since my home is already using the Google environment. Setting it up was easy, since there are a lot of videos online, (hint: don't be afraid to look at the DIY guys on this) and it integrates pretty easily into an existing Google system. Do take the time to learn about setting up zones, though, or you'll be getting alarms every time your neighbor's flag across the street waves. This isn't just true of the Google camera, it's true for other systems too.

Had a Ring Doorbell for years and it was great, but seeing we also had a Nest Camera subscription it made sense to make the switch. Extremely easy to install, and even though it's a battery model, I did end up powering it thru our existing doorbell/transformer wiring. Works great with Alexa and it compliments our existing Nest environment nicely.

After a scary moment of someone at my door-I knew then I had to get a video doorbell. The employee at Best Buy was extremely helpful-explained everything about it-I bought it. I could’nt afford the installation from Best Buy sio I installed it myself. I was super nervous to do this myself!! It probably took alot longer to install than it should but I did it. It works great! I hope I will be able to remove it during the winter with ice and snow to charge it. I’ll find out but so far it is great!! I love it and I do feel safer at home.

This is perfect to install when you don't have existing doorbell wiring outside your home. It is perfect for our needs. The auto-recording feature captures things well when set up properly. The only downsides are without a subscription, it can only show you the past 3 hours of footage. I think it is worth the extra sub. You also have to charge it about once a week and it is kind of slow to charge. I think this is because of the cold weather and it should be better when it gets warmer.

Good product and easy to set up. Only down side is the battery life. When temperatures are cold the charge goes very fast.

This has a nice design and mellow doorbell chime but it's giant compared to the Ring doorbell. I had to use the shims included because it was larger than one siding board and stuck down a few inches below where there was a gap to the next board. They didn't include enough (provided 2, needed 3 to close gap). Then I couldn't actually get the doorbell to lock properly into the mount. It wouldn't click in to lock and its easy to pull right off without the tool it comes with. Waiting for the 2nd gen of this product to come out. Maybe a non-battery-powered smaller sized version using only doorbell wiring power like my Ring Doorbell. That thing is unfortunately going back on. I like the WPA3 security and everything this one has but it's just not going to work out.

The Google doorbell works just that way a expect. Now I know what is happening at my front door.

Bought this for my apartment and bought a 3rd party adapter to attach to my door. Great battery, lasting me about 2 weeks with high traffic recording

Easy to istall.good wuality picture. Deff follow the instructions on placement. I cant speak on the battery life as i have this hard wired. But deff provides peace of mind while im at work!
