I have to charge the battery weekly, it’s way bigger than the other Nest doorbell, and it doesn’t even connect to my doorbell wires (I used the recommended wires and connection). I brought this matter to Google customer service and they didn’t really help me. I like the other Nest doorbell more than this one.

My first one stopped working completely so i bought another. If this stops working like the last one, I'm done with nest.

Easy to use and customizable alerts

Easy set up especially with the Google eco system. The notifications aren’t as sensitive as the Ring which is nice and alerts can be broadcasted throughout the home via Google devices.

Extremely easy to install, and even though it's a battery model, I did end up powering it thru our existing doorbell/transformer wiring. Works great with Alexa and it compliments our existing Nest environment nicely.

The installation was easy enough as well as the set up. The only complaint i have is how often I need to charge it. I live in PA and its approaching winter temperatures slowly. I recently installed it and after 2 days I had to charge it. At 50% battery it says i have 2 days left on it, but I highly doubt it. Overall though it does the job.

Video quality is great, its easy to install and setup. My only real complaint is, it runs off of 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. So if your setup runs both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands, make sure the bands are split, and this is connected to the 2.4, or it will randomly disconnect throughout the day.

Picture quality is good and the camera has a nice range. Its a little on the large side but luckily it blends in well.
