That said its fun tech with package recognition and auto messages based on package delivery or just people visiting. Its also very nice to have all my googles connect to it as well as my phone.

A little difficulty removing it from the base to charge, but it gets easier each time this has to be done. Overall, I would recommend.

It’s slow to load when you want to view the camera live (and we have the fastest internet available through Cox); and 2). It isn’t easy to lock back into place when you take it down to charge it.

Posted .Hi Debs, thanks for sharing your input to let us know of your issues with using the Nest Doorbell (battery). We’re sorry to hear of your difficult experience viewing camera feed, and snapping the doorbell back into place after charging.
We suggest having the latest version of the Google Home app that may improve camera playback controls to make it easier to play, pause, and navigate between events from the camera history view for cameras set up in the Google Home app. Also, if you’re using the wedge for a better camera view, make sure to install the wedge then position the baseplate plate over the wedge with the G positioned upright and use the wedge screws to secure it in place. Then attach the doorbell to the baseplate, align the circle at the bottom of the doorbell to the hole at the bottom of the baseplate, and push the doorbell in then down until you feel it click into place.
