This routers setup was smooth and very simple. I have had no issues with coverage or speed.

Best mesh experience ever! Super simple to manage via app. I have 4 in my house and all the blinds spots are covered. A quick tip, you can buy a router which has more reach and use it as an extended point. Sometimes the routers are on sale and cheaper than the extender so if you need an extender and find a router on sale, go for it! If you have smart home and google devices this is a must!

These routers are very solid products. I've used Google's routers from the beginning when the OnHub dropped. I had the Google Wifi pucks before purchasing this and this is definitely an upgrade (the router). The wireless pucks are NOT an upgrade, it's the same as the old 1st generation Google Wifi Routers. The Google Nest Wifi supports AC2200 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi with 4 x 4 antennas. This covers a theoretical maximum of 2,200Mbps with 400Mbps on the single 2.4GHz band and 1,733Mbps on 5GHz across two bands. It’s powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The Google Wifi, meanwhile, supports AC1200 with 2 x 2 antennas for a total maximum of 1,200Mbps across one 2.4GHz band and one 5GHz band. It’s also got half the amount of RAM (512MB) and a weaker quad-core 710Mhz processor. What that means in practice is that you’ll be able to connect far more devices to the Nest Wifi before your bandwidth starts straining.

The WiFi speed is an improvement over its predecessor. But the additional smaller WiFi points lack an ethernet port like their predecessor. It's a bummer since I'd rather not run a cable to different rooms for devices that work better on a secured ethernet line connection. So if you're looking to replace your older Google WiFi and have been making use of the ethernet cable port in the past, beware.

Picked up two Nest WiFi routers to establish home mesh network. These replaced Apple Airports which were failing & didn’t provide full home coverage. Nest WiFi covered house great w/ good spd. Quick & easy to setup. Just realized it’s easiest to setup 2nd router as point when right next to main router 1st & then move location once setup is completed. So far happy with setup.

Easy to set up, works immediately with no cutting out. Good product for the price.

Purchased two routers (instead of one router and one point) in order to enable a wired back haul. Works perfectly. Great performance and coverage. App is competently executed. I’ve had other brands that are more expensive with WiFi 6, yet ultimately were clunky and unreliable. Couldn’t be happier with Google Nest WiFi.

I never write reviews, but I think everyone should get this. I was using Spectrum’s factory router, which drops in and out. I’ve had the Google WiFi router, and other than Spectrum’s outages, I have no interference whatsoever. I game, so there are times I’ll set my game system up as the priority device just to make sure I don’t get any lag problems, and I just love it .

I wish I had bought this sooner! I had too many devices attached to my router and it was bogging down the network. I decided to take all of my personal devices off the network and add them to the Nest Wifi. What a difference in speed and quality of internet! Now I can work from home while the kids watch TV with no issues in lag time!

Some people believe other mesh wifi systems are superior to the Nest Wifi system. There dedicated backchannel this system is missing is perhaps the only negative, however I highly doubt 99% of people will notice that. For 99% of people, this is the best system to own in my opinion. Everything just works and works extremely well. Get this mesh system.

I love the ease of use and setup for this router. I use it with a cable modem from my provider and it's miles better. I love the functionality. It's so easy to share the network with friends or turn it off when I need to. It also notifys me when the network goes down and how long it's been down. I love this for when I have to call my provider. I'm happy with my purchase.
